"Eddie, come to my house with me."

"I-you what?"

"Come home with me."

He was silent for a few seconds with a blank expression.

"Um. Sure, why not?"

With a smile, you grabbed his arm and dragged him to your house.

--------

"IF YOU DON'T PUT ME DOWN I SWEAR TO GOD!"

You had Eddie by the waist and were lifting him up to the top of the tree in your living room. He had the star in both of his hands and was squirming and giggling, trying to escape your grasp.

"No, no, no not until you put the star on the tree."

"Put me down," he shouted.

"You can't reach even if you wanted to. That's why I'm here!"

"Ugh. Fine."

He quickly put the star on the tree. Leaning it on the highest branch at the top. Setting him down, you smiled.

"See, that wasn't so hard, was it Eds?"

He turned around and looked at you. "Do not call me Eds."

Smirking, you said, "Oh I will call you Eds if I want to."

His nose scrunched up. "Oh, no you won't."

"Oh, yes I will."

He opened his mouth to speak before you caught him off guard by kissing him on the forehead.

You plugged in the Christmas and watched the lights pop on. Walking back over to Eddie you had him sit in your lap as you watched a Christmas movie.

"Merry Christmas, Eddie."

We watched a little bit of The Polar Express in Colorguard class because of testing. We were so happy. I'm so excited for Christmas.
