I wake up to a smiling Luke. "Good morning." He says kissing my forehead. "Good morning. What's got you so happy?" I say sitting up. "We are getting signed. Someone wants to make a record with the boys and I." He says smiling really big. "OMG! IM SO PROUD! THAT'S REALLY GOOD!" I say smiling hugging him. Then I get a call, from an unknown number. "I'm gotta answer my phone." I say stop hugging Luke. "Hello?" I ask. "Is this Grace Stephens?" The other line asks. "Yes. Can I help you?" I ask politely. "I'm sorry. But it's your mom. She... she passed away." The voice says concerned. I drop my phone. "No. No." I say starting to cry. Luke runs to me. "NO! WHY?!" I scream, crying. "What's wrong?!" Luke says and the boys rush into the room. "I have no parents anymore." I say crying into his shoulder. "What do you mean?" He says looking really concerned. "She's... she's dead." I say looking at the boys behind him. Looks of sadness come across their faces. "How?" Luke says. "I don't know. I dropped my phone." I say picking my phone up. "Hello? Are you still there?" The voice is talking on the other line. "How.. how did she die?" I ask quietly. "She had a car crash. She was drunk driving. I'm so sorry ma'am." The male voice says. I recognize the voice. "Noah?" I say in a shaky voice. "Yes?" He replies. I just hang up the phone and let it slip out of my hand. "I need to go home." I say trying to wipe away my tears. "Is it to be alone or the comfort of your home?" Ashton says looking at me with sorrow. "I need to be home. I need to feel what's left of her. Although she wasn't there for me, I cared for her. She was my mother." I say looking at him with swollen eyes. "You guys can come over if you want. I just want to be in my house." I say grabbing my phone. I text Val. "Val.. My mom... she's...dead. I need you to meet me at my house in 30 minutes." The text reads. "Come on." Luke says picking me up. "One of you grab her wheelchair." He says carrying me outside. He puts me in the passenger seat, Ashton puts my wheelchair in the back. They boys load up into the other car and we drive to my house. We get there and Luke opens my door and picks me up. "Where do you want to go?" He says looking into my red, swollen eyes. "My room." I say looking into his eyes. He carries me up there and they boys follow. Calum closes my front door and walks up my stairs. Luke sits me down on the bed and he lays next to me. He pulls me into a hug, I rest my head in the crook of his neck. Ashton sits at the end of my bed with Calum. Mikey sits on my desk chair, and watches. I begin crying thinking of my dad and then my mom. The only person that lives near me is my older sister, but we aren't in contact anymore. The doorbell rings and scares me. "I'll get that." Ashton says walking downstairs. He opens the door and Val is standing there. "Uh. Is.. uh.. Grace here?" She ask looking at the 19 year old in front of her. "Are.. you uh...her friend?" He ask. "Yeah. I'm Valory, Val for short." She says smiling. "I'm Ashton, Ash for short. Come on, she's upstairs." He says closing the door behind her. She runs up the stairs to see me and three boys in my room. "Whoa. Okay, I've been introduced to two guys. One just a minute ago, who are these people?" She ask confused. I turn to look at her with my face red from crying. She runs to me hugging me, forgetting the question she just asked. "It's okay. It'll be okay." She says rubbing my back. All I can do is cry.
