Chapter Seven

"What now?"

"I have a prior engagement."

His hands lower as he scoffs.

"Of Course you do."

"I'm sorry."

"You only had this job for like 2 days and its already your first priority."

"Well its a job I don't want to lose it."

"You were just telling me you were trying to quit?"

"I know but now I'm really close to a promotion so..."

He looks up at me and then smiles.

"Well that's great."

He hands me the flowers and takes the tickets.

"Well these are also great for tomorrow and we can go then."

"Alright."

I go up to him and kiss his cheek. I went past him and went straight to the bathroom.

"What's your engagement anyways?"

"I've been invited to a dinner party."

"Really?"

I take off my clothes and leap into the shower.

"Black-Tie?"

"Yeah!" I say over running water

"Cool."

I soon come out of the bathroom and I leave with a towel wrapped around my body. I leave the bathroom with my towel of a dress and come to see Jake with his coat off and laying on the couch.

"So, what are you going to do when I'm gone?" I ask

"I'm just gonna lay here..watch the game."

I see the lotion and go to him and I lay next to him.

"To be honest, I don't even feel like going to this." I lie

"Hmm."

I lay my head on his shoulder and I watch the game with red and white players going against the yellow and purple players.

"It's going to be prissy rich people, no flavor type meat and lame music."

That I don't lie.

He looks at me and smiles.

"Don't think about that...just have fun."

I look into his eyes and smile.

"Thanks."

I lean up and I climb on his lap covering the television.

"Hey?"

He moves his head from left to right stretching his neck.

I laugh, Jake looks up at me and calms down.

He looks up and stares at me, I stare at him and he grabs my back laying me on my back as he lays on top of me.

He kisses me and I kiss him back. My towel soon unravels and now I'm naked. We continue to kiss and he soon moves down and kisses my neck and kisses my stomach.

I lean up from the floor and I look to my left to see Jake on the floor with out a shirt and just boxers.

"Wow.." he says leaping up with bed head

He looks at me but I look at clock to see its 6:30.

I look in the corner of my eye and Jake looks at me and leans into me.
