Silk (Marvel) X Reader

(Y/N)'s POV

The microwave goes off with a loud beep, telling everyone within earshot that it is done with whatever the machine has been heating. Oh cool, the popcorn is ready. With a smile, I pull out a blue bowl and get the popcorn bag out of the microwave. Oww, dang! That's hotter than I expected. Careful to not burn my hands, I open the bag and pour the freshly popped corn into the bowl. With a heavy breath in, I take a good whiff of the popcorn. Mmm, that smells good enough to eat. With a happy smile, I take the bowl of food and grab a couple of cans of soda from the fridge before heading to the living room. As I walk to the couch I call out to my girlfriend.

"Hey Cindy! The corn is ready." My voice carries throughout the house. Before I can sit down on the couch I hear a response.

"Be out in a second!" I let out a happy sigh as I flop down on the comfy couch before putting the sodas on the table. Soon enough the sound of footsteps comes from the hallway making me look up. Cindy then comes running into the room with her loose long shirt and her Staryu plush in her arms. She then jumps into the air, over the table, and right next to me on the couch. The sudden shaking of the sofa nearly makes the bowl tip over.

"Oh jeez Cindy! Be careful next time!" I say as I get comfortable on the couch again, "You almost made me spill the corn and I don't want couch popcorn." Cindy snickers before she sticks her tongue out at me playfully. While rolling my eyes, "Oh yeah, real mature there, superhero." My sarcasm only makes her snicker evolve into a laugh as she scoots closer to me. My eyes roll again as I move a little closer to her, making sure to move the bowl into reach for the black haired beauty. Cindy leans forward and takes a big whiff of the popcorn before happily saying.

"Mmm, that smells good enough to eat!" I let out a little chuckle before saying.

"That's my line." She gives me a confused look making me shrug, "Sorry, just making a little joke." Cindy shrugs before she takes a handful of popcorn and stuffs it into her mouth. She then looks forward at the tv before looking around for something.

"Hey (Y/N)?" Her words are a little muffled by the popcorn.

"Yeah?"

"Where's the remote?" I then look forward and realize that the tv isn't on. I look around the couch and even lift myself up a bit to make sure I hadn't sat on it. Hmm, where is that thing. Looking over at one of the smaller tables, I finally see the remote resting there.

"Found it. The thing is on the table." All of a sudden I hear a "thwip" as a web flies out and attaches to the remote. Then with a tug of the web, the remote comes flying towards us and into Cindy's hand. I then teasingly say to her, "A bit lazy there, weren't you?" Cindy smiles as she sticks her tongue out at me again.

"Well then I would have had to get up and move away from you and I am suuuuper comfy right now." I laugh some and then give her a quick kiss on the cheek.

"Fair enough." She then turns on the tv as I wrap an arm around her shoulder, "So what do you want to watch?" She responds while flipping through the channels without looking at me.

"There's a new Pokemon movie out and I want to watch it."

"I now see why Staryu as joined us this evening." Cindy nods happily.

"Yup! Now shush while I try and find it." She says. I chuckle some at the spider themed heroine's words.

"Alright." I say with a smile as I sit back and relax, ready for a movie night with my girlfriend.

I know it's a bit short given some of my other stuff but I kinda just wanted to write a nice short fluff story. Hope it is good. Also fun fact, Cindy is actually a Pokemon fan.
