(Y/N)'s POV
"(Y/N)!" Chi-Chi's voice comes from the house, "Where are you?" Right as I turn around to face the house, she slams the door open and looks around outside for me. When I see my wife I tilt my head to the side and raise a hand to wave at her.
"Hey Chi-Chi. What's up?" Her head snaps to me before she comes rushing out of the house. She stops just out of arm's reach and glares at me.
"There you are!" She angrily says as her eyes look up and down my body, "Did you forget what we were doing today?" I scratch the bottom of my chin as I try to think what she could be talking about and what could have her so mad. I'm done with the farming that she wanted me to do, I took out the trash, and I haven't tried in or around the house for a while... Hmm this is a conundrum.
"I know I didn't forget your birthday or our wedding anniversary, so I don't know." As I say that, my hand moves to the back of my head. Her face falls as she looks to the ground and sighs.
"Date night?" She questions, "Did you forget about our monthly date night?" Hmm oh it has been a month since our last "date night"! My hand keeps rubbing the back of my head as I let out a nervous laugh.
"Oh sorry Chi-Chi, I forgot." She groans and clenches her fist as I keep laugh before she just lets it go and looks up at me.
"Well you're lucky I caught you before you could leave mister. Otherwise you would be a world of trouble." I laugh a little more before letting my hand drop.
"Yeah I guess I was lucky." My smile stays on my face as I then ask, "So where did you want to go?" Chi-Chi eyes light up as she starts to smile.
"Well I want to go to the movie theater and see a movie Bulma suggested, and then go to the mall and pick up some clothes for (S/N) and (D/N), and after that I thought we could go pick up a new vacuum cleaner, mop, and sewing machine and then..." My smile curls down a bit with each word as my body starts to feel like I'm on King Kai's planet. Just when I think this is just going to be boring though, Chi-Chi notices my expression and then says, "Oh right I wanted to pick up some (F/N) while we were out." I stand up straight again, now noticing that I was even starting to slouch before asking.
"Really?" My wife gives me a smile and nods before adding.
"And did I mention that the sewing machine is to fix your torn gi?" My eyes widen more as I look down at my side, right at the spot that's been torn for a while.
"That's awesome!" She giggles at my excitement and then says.
"And after we get everything and see the movie, I thought we could go try out the new buffet at the mall." I look at her starry eyed as she then leans forward, "And if you behave yourself then maybe when we get back you and I could..." She stops and leans into my ear and whispers what she was going to say. My smile grows before I jump back in surprise and excitement.
"I'm going to get mouth present?" She then rushes to me and covers my mouth with her hands.
"Shhhh! Not so loud, (Y/N)!" She looks around us for some reason before hesitantly removing her hands, "Yes you will get that, BUT only if you behave." She stresses the but part before saying, "Sound good?" In a flash, she is scooped up into my arms before I take off towards the city.
"Deal!" Chi-Chi is stunned for only a second before she shouts.
"Wait! Stop!" When she says that I stop midair with her still in my arms.
"What is it?" Chi-Chi then shoots a glare at my as she pushes aside some hair that came loss when we took off flying.
"We can't go out like this, especially you." She grabs ahold of my gi when she says you.
"Why, what's wrong with my gi?"
"It's torn and smells like sweat. Come on, take us back to the house so that you and I can change and so I can get my purse." As she speaks, Chi-Chi points back at the house with one arm. Hmm, I guess that makes sense.
"Okay, Chi-Chi." We then turn around in the air as I fly us back to the house. When we get closer Chi-Chi then adds.
"You have to let me pick out your clothes." I laugh some at her request as we reach the front door. Once my feet touch the ground, I set Chi-Chi down and grab the door that she had kicked open.
"Sure Chi-Chi." With that we then walk into the house and I shut the door behind us.

A friend suggested that I just make the reader Goku, so if you're getting some Goku vibes from him that's why, though hopefully I changed him enough to make the one-shot work. Goku isn't inherently a good base for relationships given how different he is from a typical person. Hopefully the one shot was good and for anyone who might not get what (S/N) and (D/N) stand for they are son's name and daughter's name respectively.
