Flannery (Pokemon) X Reader

(Y/N)'s POV

"Ahh~." These hot springs are no joke. They are almost as good as the ones on Mt. Silver but then again those could just feel so good because they foil the cold environment around them so much. Oh well, no need to get into any of the details. I will have to thank Flannery for the suggestion. Wonder if I should get her a gift as thanks. The sound of footsteps soon pull me from my thoughts. Peaking under the bill of my hat the sight of a towel cladded Flannery. While looking at her, a smirk creeps onto the fire type gym leader's face.

"Ooo, the famous (Y/N) is checking me out. Now don't I feel special." The redhead throws her towel to the side. Thankfully for my heart, she is wearing a red two piece bikini, though said bikini leaves to the imagination. With the smirk never leaving her face, Flannery soon joins me in the hot spring. Shaking my head to regain focus, I clear my throat before responding.

"Sorry I was just a little caught off guard since I wasn't expecting company." She covers her mouth to hide her giggles.

"Well I cannot say I am surprised given how long you spent on that Mountain." Pulling my hat down lower to block my face, I can't see what she is doing.

"That or you gave me false reassurance when you said that I would have the spring all to myself." Laughter and the ripples of water fill the air as the gym leader comes over my way. "Seems a little out of character." She stops and rests right next to me. Looking out of the corner of my eye I can see just how nervous she is. Despite how she is acting, Flannery is still keeping to herself and hesitating. A light smile graces my lips, which does not go unnoticed by my fellow trainer.

"What are you smiling about?" She tries to mask her feelings with her voice. Maybe she doesn't think I can see her.

"It's just that a friend that made me smile." Flannery is taken back and forgets her facade.

"What? Um, who was it? Your friend I mean." This time I can't help but laugh a little bit.

"Oh it was a good friend of mine. She's real nice and kind and a good battler." Flannery looks away and stays silent for a few minutes.

"Oh..." I don't think she has caught on yet.

"Yeah she's also extremely attractive." Flannery perks up. "Her long hair is a beautiful shade of red, she is a talented trainer, and her eyes are a gorgeous red that makes me melt every time I look into them." Her shoulders slump as she slides down the wall of the hot spring. The once sly smirk that she wore has fled her face and in its place is a dejected frown as her hair covers her eyes from view.

"Oh... she sounds wonderful."

"Oh she is. Trust me."

"And you seem to really like her."

"That I do."

"Does she like you back?" Sitting up more, I push my hat up so that if she looked my way, Flannery would be able to see my face.

"I don't know, honestly."

"Then you should ask her." The fire specialist finally looks up from the water. "If you don't she might go to someone else..." Her new found confidence slowly fades away as her voice grows quieter and quieter. As Flannery finishes her sentence, her head lowers and she goes back to looking at the water.

"You are right, I will ask her now." The two of us sit there for a few minutes before Flannery looks back up at me.

"What are you doing?"

"Seeing if the girl I like likes me back." A few more minutes go by before her face and her hair are the same shade. Before I know it, Flannery has her arms around me and is crashing her lips onto mine. The girl leapt with such force that she sent us back in the hot spring with us stopping abruptly when my back meets another wall of the spring. Once she pulls away I can catch my breath and respond. "So yes?" She smiles brightly while nodding her head.

"Yes!" I smile back before giving her another kiss on the lips. Though mine is a bit more subdued than hers, she smiles and graciously returns the kiss. Once apart, Flannery speaks.

"So after this do you want to maybe do something?" Thinking a bit I come up with something.

"How about after this we head out and have a walk around town before getting something to eat. It will be my treat." Her smile stays as she nods again.

"That sounds perfect." After that she gets off of me and sits down next to me again, but this time closer than before. Wrapping my arm around her, the redhead rests her head on my shoulder and sighs as she closes her eyes. With a smile I rest my head back and join her in relaxing. Now I am definitely getting her a gift.
