(Roman POV)

I know getting over memories that haunt you wasn't easy. I was just fine until he arrived. Curse you Anxiety. My little ball of darkness.

I knew she was here for a reason.

I haven't seen her in years. She was always a fairly attractive person and puberty surely worked in her favour. Under all that beauty hides a truly psychotic person. Gutting one of my guards to make a statement takes...guts. In a million years I would have never guessed she would have turned out this way but after all we were all affected by her sister's death.

"I know you know who I am but then again it has been years-"

"Melissa" the name slipped out of my mouth.

"Nowadays it's Dreamy" a snicker grew on her face.

She was the one speaking to Virgil. This demented human. If she ever so much as laid a hand on my baby, she will be dead like there was no tomorrow.

This did make me question why she was here. She knows what I did. Does this mean she's here to seek revenge? If she had access to outside of the room why would she return if she wanted to harm me? She could harm me back at the place but here there would be no witnesses or any that could do anything about it. She wasn't here to harm me but than why was she here?

She crept closer. Her movements were smooth. Her footsteps light. She got scarcely close. She reached over. I finched. I reach for my sword but her hand was there first. She removed my sword from its scabbard and rose it to my neck.

"I'll be taking this" she snickered.

She tapped the top of the blade underneath my chin. The tip of the blade poked my neck.

"I would have expected you to be back here sooner. Sadly my work has gone... off" She glanced over at my deceased guard. Her face lit up the sight of the rotting corpse. "He was already before I gutted him besides he practically begged me to end his suffering"

"You sick bitc-"

"He was on the wrong side of the war and anyway I wasn't the one who offed him though I could have stopped it"

"Then who did this?"

(Virgil POV)

Roman left my room in a stur. I let him leave and go to his room. He needed some rest. Morality is letting me get back to work as long as I don't overwork myself again. Logic is monitoring how long everyone works from now on. I worked through the night to keep my mind off things.

Roman. All I could think about was Roman. I didn't want to think about him. I tried to stop thinking about him but my mind was relentless. I needed to tell him something but it could wait until the morning.

I haded realised I had worked through the night until Logan in to pester me about what I thought about Thomas' video idea. I gave my usual response "It's terrible and he should instead rewatch Parks and Recreation". He dismissed my idea and took over my shift. I pushed my chair back and reclined in it.

I must have slipped off into dream land because I was rudely awoken by calling. "Thomas" I whispered. I arose from my chair and appeared into the real world. Logic and Morality were already there but sir-sing-a-lot was nowhere to be seen. I hide it from the others but I was disappointed. I didn't need to fuel the fandom's ships of Princey and I. For some reason the fandom thinks we are compatible. I think the idea has gotten to me. When I recently discovered what a ship was, my world had changed.

Thomas told me he had been trying to call Roman for the last half an hour but he hadn't shown. Thomas began to panic which is why he called me here. I should have assumed I wasn't here to help with the video.

I told Thomas I would go and look for the prince. I sunk down and headed to the royal figure's bedroom. The door was ajar. I nudged it making it creak open. No sign of him anywhere. No not saying where he went. I roamed the halls searching for any sign of him. I stopped at my bedroom door. I noticed a slip of white paper on my ebony mattress protector.

I climbed over my sheets that still splayed out on the ground. The note directed me to where Roman was, The Creation Station. I didn't think about telling the others. I was going to find him myself. I had to do it myself I needed to prove I could do something.

The door leading to into the room was locked. I just let the doorknob but it would turn. I threw my hands to my sides. I heard some noise come from Dreamy's room. Maybe he had a key?

His filming room was empty. There were three possible rooms for him to be in but how would I know which one he was in? A thud from one of the rooms gave me my answer.

The editing room's door was open. It reminded me more of a surveillance room from the movies. I felt like this door wasn't supposed to open. The door handle was dangling off the door. On the monitors of the room was video relevances. This was a security room. Dreamy was spying on us. I stumble back. My body bumped into something or should I say someone.

I turned to look at the figure towering above me. She was so familiar but I couldn't but my finger on it. Where had I seen her before?

"Hello Virgil"

(Roman POV)

Melissa proposed a deal. If I helped her with this job she could be punished for her crimes. She said it with a wink as if suggesting another form of punishment than the one I had planned. She should know she isn't my taste but then again the last time I saw her I was dating a girl. The first and only girl I ever dated. Once this task was done she would be thrown in the dungeon for aiding in a murder. She didn't tell me what the job was but I knew it had to be bad considering where we were going.

"So, where are we going?" I asked.

"To Hell"

Hell was a place within my kingdom. Few people have gone there and made it back alive. I was one of the few, that's why Melissa chose me. We were the only two members of the kingdom to make it back alive. Neither of us walked out the same.

Hell was a specific area within the woodlands. It was easy to stumble into the gates of Hell but no so easy to find your way out. Once you go too far from the entrance the light washes into pitch black. This is caused by the tree's branches twisting into each other near the canopy.

A light was the only thing that guided us through the forest. I lead the way. My sword was raised to my back. Melissa gave me the instructions on where to go. One wrong move and I'd be gone. She brought to my attention that she knew what she was doing and I was only here to help her. I had a feeling she wouldn't kill me off. She said otherwise. She was just trying to scare me. I was sure of that.

After two hours of walking she stopped for a break. She used my sword to cut down a tree. We used the tree for seats and a fire. We started talking. It was actually nice to catch up. She told me all about what she was up to, skipping over details like she usually did. It was almost like old times.

"What happened to us?" She sighed.

"Life" was all I could think to say.

The conversation changed.

"It's been 16 years since we've been here" she looked around the campsite we made. "What happened was for the best"

"How so?"

"They was going to die anyway"

A/N| I am going to take a while off to regain enthusiasm on this story. I have the next chapter written but I need to type it up. I have a few other story ideas I might pursue in the meantime. I'll definitely be back by next year.
