(Third person POV)

"Thomas... Virgil is missing" Logic said.

"What? How did you lose him?" Thomas' was in disbelief.

He couldn't comprehend how they lost him. Yes the place is humungous and he hasn't seen all of it but how could they honestly lose him. Are they sure that he just isn't in his room or hiding? He might not want to work anymore and he just ducked out. It wouldn't be the first time he has done that. Logic interrupted his train of thought.

"The mind is a complex place to live in. A wrong step and you can get lost for days. There are doors that take you to different worlds and-" Logan stopped mid-sentence. "Other worlds" he whispered.

Patton was kicking a patch of grass watching it fly out of the soil and land off somewhere else. He didn't want to listen to the conversation. He had failed his children. Virgil and Melissa could be anywhere. All he could pray is that they were safe. He was concerned about Anxiety more. They couldn't only assume what happened and from what they presume he may have been hurt.

They had no idea what happened in Mel's room but if whatever happened to her room she did herself they may have to be concerned for her health. If she wasn't as sane as they think she is someone might be at risk. Morality just hoped it wasn't Anxiety.

He was only half listening to Logic when he spoke. They were all drowning in their thoughts. Some were handling it better than others. He looked up at Logan to analyse his face. Logan glared at the floor as he explained it to Thomas. Logic was twirling his glasses by one of its arms. The man rarely took off his glasses unless it was to clean them or to sleep. Patton noticed the man's change in expression. He knew his boyfriend figured something out.

None of them thought about the fact that the fight took place, the waiting room. The room that holds the door to Melissa's homeland. If Melissa, for example, wanted to go back then Virgil would try his best to stop her. The pieces were finally fitting together.

Something was moving around in the fountain that wasn't supposed to be. Logan walked around the fountain to check it out. He froze when he saw someone floating face first in the water. He raises his glasses so he can see through them without having to put them on. His suspicion was confirmed. His glasses slipped from his hands and landed on the grass. Patton called out to Logan and when he didn't return, he forced himself to get up and go over to logic.

Crunch. Patton stepped on Logic's glasses. Crap, Morality thought. Logic didn't notice his eyes were glued to the water. He slowly turned his head to look at whatever could make Logan act like this.

He saw Virgil's floating body in the water. For the first time in his life, he let a swear to slip out of his mouth and didn't feel bad for it. It was the only correct instinct. He yelled for Thomas who came rushing over and helped him remove Anxiety's body from the cold water.

They moved the body to the grass where Thomas and Patton had to try and remember what they knew about CPR. Logan was no help to him. Patton took charge of the situation. He checked for breathing, gave two breaths and compressed Anxiety's chest 30 times. Still no sign of life. He needed logic. He told Thomas to continue while he tried to snap Logan out of his trance.

Few times Patton had ever caught Logan in deep thought but this is different. He isn't working on something impossibly difficult. He was frozen. He figured out what happened but it was too late. Logan knew how he got there, He knew everything about this world and the others that were connected. He knew every secret that this place had to offer. He was the first one here. Everyone thought it was Morality but only those two know who is truly older.

He knew Anxiety would be fine. The others were unconvinced. He couldn't stop thinking about how he could have prevented all of this or at least eased people's thoughts. This wasn't a different job to have all he had to do was see the signs that were in front of him. Something moved in front of him. His blurry vision made it near impossible to make out who was it. The bright blue shirt helped him.

Patton was about to say something until he heard Virgil cough up water. Morality went over to Virgil and turned him over on his side. Once Anxiety emptied all the water from his lungs, he was questioned. He wasn't as cooperative as the others would have liked. He looked around and noticed Patton and someone else.

"Thomas?" Virgil guessed.

"Yeah?"

"How? What?"

"We'll explain later. We should probably get you to bed, right Logan?" Thomas looked around for Logic to find him nowhere.

He had left after Anxiety woke up. They were all too preoccupied with Virgil that they never noticed. Thomas gave Patton a questioning look. Virgil tried to get up but was still too weak. Patton and Thomas were uncomfortably close to him.

"She's still in there?" Virgil thought aloud.

"Who is in there, Anxiety?" Thomas asked.
