"Pappy Patton! Uncle Tom cat!!!" Eight year old you cheered, hugging your relatives.
"Where's Uncle Roman, and Grandpa Logan?" You questioned.
"They'll be here soon, Princess." Your dad called.
You pouted slightly.
"What if they don't get here in time?" You questioned, slightly worried.
Patton kneeled before you, "We would never start Thanksgiving without the whole family here, Y/n/n."
He picked you up spinning you around in the air.
You laughed and made airplane noises.
Logan and Roman then entered the room.
"Yayyyyy!!!!" You cheered, as Patton gave you to Roman and gave Logan a kiss.
"Alright!" Indigo cheered, giving everyone a quick hug.
(My family says grace before we eat Thanksgiving dinner, so that's happening. If you're offended somehow, keep your mouth shut, and stop reading)
"Who wants to say grace?" Indigo asked.
"Me mommy!" You cheered.
She chuckled and nodded, as everyone bowed there heads.
"Dear lord, please bless this meal and everyone here, both with us and far apart. We are thankful for this gathering today. And please bless my seven boyfriends with the same luck, amen."
"Amen." Everyone replied, accept Virgil.
"What boyfriends?!" Virgil questioned.
Everyone laughed and began to get their food.
Dinner was filled with laughter, jokes, and cheering.
...and making fun of Uncle Roman...
By the end of dinner, you realized you had many things to be thankful for.
But, even if you were only eight, you knew you were mainly thankful for this wonderful family you seemed to have blessed with.
