You truly loved them. But they can't love you back. How could they.
They're literally six feet away. You've asked over and over again, if they loved you. Always getting the same result.
Silence.
You knew why you got that answer. It was quite obvious.
But still you spoke to them everyday. Always getting no answers, just silence.
But today you made the decision to go right beside them.
Joining them in the yard full of silent people, well, what's left of people.
As you approached the spot next to their permanent resting place, you ascended up a flight of gold and white stairs.
You could see them, smiling and waiting for you at the top of the stairs.
Once you got their, they smiled.
That smile that you missed oh so much.
"I love you too." They grinned, kissing you softly.
Then you both turned, and walked through the gates of heaven.
