A New Avenger

Morning

I woke up at 8:30, an hour early. I decided to start getting ready, I didn't want to look terrible for the important people today. I let Cat sleep, I figured she'd be mad if I woke her up. I walked toward my bag then noticed something new. The chairs in our room had folded up clothes with notes on them. I read the one to me, it said

"Good Morning Esme, we have decided to pick your clothes for today's meeting and training. They are extremely comfortable and light weight. Enjoy. Your friend, Natasha."

I looked at the outfit. It was kinda like Natasha's outfit but smaller and had writing on the right corner which said

"Esme
Abilities: intellectual; influence on the elements; strength
Group: The New Avengers"

It also had the S.H.I.E.L.D symbol above it. That's fancy. Excitement rushed over me, I looked over at Cat, she was still sleeping, good, it's my own excitement. I slipped on the black lightweight suit and fixed my hair. I figured they'd want it up for training but I left it down for now and put a ponytail on my wrist.i put my hair in front of the writing on my chest, I wasn't ready for anyone and everyone knowing what I can do, even though Fury practically told everyone. I glanced at my watch 8:55, I should wake Cat up. I looked over at Cat, she looked so peaceful, but I didn't want her to be late and blame it on me. So I walked to her bed and rubbed her arm. Instead of looking up she turned herself face down and gave a load groan. I couldn't help but laugh. "Cat it's time to wake up, we have important people to see today." I persuaded. She didn't budge. Then she turned around and grabbed my arm with the watch. "It's barely 9:00 Esme. We are supposed to get up at 9:30." I smiled at her answer. "Come on Cat, I'm sure it takes you more than half an hour to get dressed and all fixed up." She just looked at me and said "So." I laughed. She looked over at me and said "Fine." She got up and did a yawn and a stretch. She walked over to the chairs and saw a note and a suit for her. She read the note aloud.

"Good morning Cat, here's your suit, make sure you wear it today.

From,

Natasha."

I tried to hold my laughter in. Natasha's note to me was so sincere. Why doesn't she like Cat? Interrupting my thoughts Cat said, "Well isn't she the most pleasant person you'll ever meet." We laughed in sync, and she slipped on her suit. It was identical to mine except the writing was different. Hers read

"Cat
Abilities: control others emotions; shapeshifter
Group: The New Avengers."

She fixed her hair like mine, covering the writing. I looked at the time 9:20, "we should start walking Cat." I said. She looked over at me and said "okay, we need extra time because I forgot where the conference room is." She gave a sheepish smile and I just face palmed. Oh Cat.

We began our walk to the conference room. After 5 minutes of walking I decided to finally ask someone. If Cat would've showed it to me yesterday I would've remembered. I walked over to a familiar face from my school, Agent Tabolt. I asked him where the conference room was and he told us "down the main hallway and to the left." We thanked him and sped walked to the door. I looked at my watch 9:59. I whispered to Cat "On time. With a minute to spare" she grinned and said "here goes nothing" and she twisted the knob.
