A New Avenger

The Meeting

As we walked in I was expecting to see my heroes. Instead it was Fury with a bunch of other girls my age. They all were wearing the same suits as I was with different writing. It was awkward only for a moment until Fury spoke, "Well good morning Esme and Cat, these are the new recruits. The rest of our heroes are running late." I looked at the other three girls, one had red hair and dark blue eyes, the one next to her had grassy green eyes and was a nice golden color. The last one had chocolate brown eyes and a beautiful smile. I looked over at Fury, his eyes lit up as he remembered "Oh right, introductions, this is Emilie, her powers are shape shifting and making food pop up in front of her at will." I looked at the redheaded girl he referred to. I noticed she was eating a bag of chips, well that explains it. Fury continued "This is Danielle she has a photographic memory and can turn into other people." As he said that the girl with the green eyes suddenly shifted into me. It made me jump. Do I really look like that? "And this" he went on "is Mackenzie, she can make it appear as if she is in two places at once. Kinda like Loki." I glanced over at her chocolate brown eyes. She gave a sincere smile. I gave a grin back. Fury turned to the other girls "This girls, is Esme, she has control over the elements, extreme strength and a high I.Q. And this is Cat, she can control others emotions and shape-shift into a cat." Cat gave a wave as her cheeks blushed. I tried to keep my face from blushing but I'm sure it did. "Please sit down girls" Fury said as he gestured to the open seats. "Now girls" Fury started "The Avengers should be walking into this room soon. I know that some of you really like a certain Avenger, so please try to keep it together." As he said that the other girls laughed a little. I gave a worried face, what if I went nuts as soon as Thor walked in. That would be me. Interrupting my thoughts, the Tony Stark walked into the room. I tried so hard not to stare. All he said was "Fury, where can I get some food around  here?" I looked over at Emilie, her eyes lit up. Tony looked at Emilie, she was still eating chips as he asked "You, where did you get those chips?" Fury said "that's one of her powers Mr. stark, she can create food at will." Tony looked at Emilie and walked over and grabbed a chair and stuck it next to her. He said " I like you what's your name?" She looked in shock as she responded "Emilie Sir." He answered "Please, call me Tony." She smiled and said "okay Tony, what are you hungry for?" He said "Same as you, Chips." She smiles and responded " Nice choice Tony." As she made appear a bag of chips. Tony picked it up opened it and started eating. I have a good feeling they are going to be best friends. I heard the door knob turn, another Avenger, hopefully Thor. Nope, it was hawkeye. He looked at everyone around the room and said "who do I work with?" Fury gave him a cold look and said "I'll tell you and everyone else when they get here, if they ever do." He just sat down. Fury looking annoyed said "If Rogers, Thor, Banner and Romanoff don't get here I'm starting without them." I got worried and hoped Thor would hurry his butt up. The knob turned again, it was Dr. Banner, Natasha and Steve. Jeez where the heck is Thor!?! Natasha gave me a smile, and so did Steve. But Dr. Banner just sat down. Steve was the one who broke the silence, "Director Fury, Where's Thor?" Fury sighed and said "I have no idea. In the mean time let me introduce everyone." I was getting a little too worried over here for introductions but oh well. "This" Fury started " is Emilie, she can shape shift and can create food at will." Steve interrupted "I guess that's why Tonys all buddy buddy with her."  Fury continued " This is Danielle, she has a photographic memory and can turn into other people." Hawkeye looked into her beautiful green eyes as she blushed. "Next" Fury went on " is Mackenzie, she can appear as if she is in two places at once." She blushed as Steve looked interested in her eyes. "This is Cat" Fury went on " she can control others emotions and shapeshift into a cat" Cats face Glowed with excitement. "Last but not least, is Esme, She has a incredibly high I.Q, super strength, and has control over the elements." As he finished his statement, the most dazzling god I've ever seen walked into the room, Thor. He had an amazing smile on his face while he said "Sorry I'm late Sir. I had to travel through realms to get here." His voice was even more enchanting then I ever imagined. He took a seat near me. I felt almost breathless. Fury said "Nice excuse Thor. Anyway, now that you are all gathered here, I need to tell you all something very important. We have Loki in a holding Cell. He came to Earth 48 hours ago. He practically let us take him, which leads me to believe he has a plan." I looked over at Cat her face was turning red. Did she have a crush on Loki? Interrupting me Fury went on "I have paired each of you with another person. You will train together, and spend many hours training, I hope. One of you will be coming with me for other purposes." I looked over at Thor. I hope I'm paired with him. Fury continued "your pairs are, Emilie you are with Mr. Stark over here." Emilies face lit up. They highfived each other as Fury went on "Danielle you are with Mr. Barton over here, uh, Mackenzie you are with Mr. Rodgers, Esme you are with Thor, and Cat, please come with me." Oh my god, Thor and I, I am too excited to handle right now. Thor looked over at me and walked my way. Everyone else was chatting with their hero while he was walking my way. He approached me and said "Hello Esme, I am Thor, I think I'll have a great time working together." I felt choked up but managed to say "I'm sure we will, it's an honor to meet you." He gave a grin and said "As it is for me. I am amazed by your ability." I blushed and right when I was about to answer Fury interrupted me "Alright guys settle,Natasha, Dr. Banner come with Cat and I, and the rest of you go to these rooms to train together. there will be an agent there to tell you what to do." He handed each of us a paper with a room number. I looked at all the other girls, they looked extremely excited. I looked at Thor and he said "Let's Train."
