Aubrey's Car^^
"Hello?" I answer. "Hello is there an Aubrey Smith available?" A lady asks. "This is she." I respond. "Good evening miss. I'm calling on behalf of your book "Don't Leave Me" It is in the process of being published right now as we speak. However, it's been published awhile back in Tennessee and we just got word it's becoming known nationally. Would you like to set up a meet and greet sometime soon for those whom have read it online?" "Sure! Absolutely." I tell her. "Okay great! Could you meet later on today? Say 5 this evening good for you?" I smile to myself. "5 would be perfect for me. Might I ask why a meet and greet, if my book is just now being published?" The lady then says, "Your book has been published in Tennessee a little over a week and online as well. We recently received your reviews and started making copies here as well. Oh my God! Oh my God! This is really happening! My parents would be so proud of me! I wonder what Ruby will think. I must tell her later on. I tell the lady, "Thank you. Thank you so much! I shall see you at the studio at 5." We hung up and I run and jump in Cameron's lap. "Well hello babe. So nice of you to drop in." I laugh at him and shake my head. "Remember how I told you, I wrote a book while I still lived in Tennessee?" He nods and I continue to say, "Well it's been published and becoming a top seller already. I have a meet and greet in a few hours!" He kisses me then says, "That's awesome! Does Ruby and grams know?" I shake my head. "No. No one knew except mom and dad and well now you. Aiden might had figured it out, but he's irrelevant, so I could care less." He smiles up at me then says to me, "You know Aubrey, you're the best thing that has happened to me. My dad died before I was born and my mom blamed me for it all. She kept me of course, but she never really was there for me. She moved on and got remarried to an asshole with a bitch daughter. Well sometimes she can be one but that's how I met Yasmine. They are best friends. My mom always got hit on while we were out or she was going on countless dates before they came along. You see my mom was an older Victoria Secret model, so she's well known. She absolutely loves the spot light. Kaitlyn hated my mom when her dad announced their move and engagement. After all She was daddy's little girl. He was her best friend. Kaitlyn doesn't like sharing the spot light and that is why her and Yasmine are close. They understand each other; the only difference between them is Kaitlyn is a virgin. She told me, she wants to wait until she's sure about the guy. I can tell you that she tried flirting with me when they first moved in, but I shut her down quickly. It was when I developed a crush on you." His face tints red and he continues to say, "She has her eyes on Tucker now, if they haven't already gotten together. Aubrey in case you never figured it out, he has a crush on you too. He isn't the type to fight over a girl though. He knew my crush on you was deep and only growing so he stepped back. Babe if you hadn't asked me to move in with you, when you did, I would had been homeless. Kaitlyn told me as I packed my things, that my mom had planned to kick me out. From the times we talked, Kaitlyn wants to meet you and possibly hang out. She loves to read and go to the library." I smile down at him and say, "Well that's unfortunate babe. Sorry about your mom but invite Kaitlyn to my meet and greet today. I have to get ready, so on your way there would you drop Amelia off back at home? Tell my sister what's up and I'll call you when I get there." We kiss then I hug Amelia before going to our room to shower. After I'm done, I blow dry my hair and style it in big loose curls. I get dressed and apply nude make up. I grab my phone looking at the time, 4:36. Crap! I have to leave right now or I'll be late. I get there with 5 minutes to spare. Yes! I talk with the lady whom called me earlier before setting up my booth. Her name is Vanessa. Half and hour later, the line was busier than I had expected. I bet I had signed over 200 books in just my first hour. Looking at my phone it read 8:25 Pm. Damn man I've been here a little over 3 hours. Just as the last girl comes up to me. I take in her appearance, beautiful eyes, long hair, slim and she had great fashion sense. She says, "Hello! Sorry I'm running late to your meet and greet. I'm Kaitlyn, Cameron's sister. It's a pleasure to finally meet you. He honestly never shuts up about you. I know the studio is closing soon but I wish I had more time to get to know you. From what he's told me, you sound amazing." I blush slightly then tell her, "It's nice to finally meet you as well. I know we may not know each other as well but I am with your brother and you are welcome to join me back at home for a late dinner if you'd like, that is." She smiles brightly and tells me, "I'd be honored to join you for dinner Aubrey." During the drive home she tells me, "I would like to know a bit more about your book, such as what it's about and how did you came up with the plot or idea in general? I literally bought it just as an excuse to meet you. I've been either busy with Yasmine or Tucker. He told me about how he had a crush on you awhile back and how he never acted on it because he didn't want to lose Cameron or mess up your friendship. He said that it wasn't just a small ordinary crush like he told Cameron. It developed over the times you hung out with them and from the moment you threw the football to him. You know Aubrey, I find it cute and it honestly warms my heart. Because if we ever become a thing when he gets passed it, I know his heart will be true. As for my brother, he is infatuated with you. He truly loves you and would marry you in an instant without a doubt. I know you two live together already but he's serious about you. The other day when we hung out with Tucker, Yasmine and David, he pulled me to the side and asked me what I thought about him proposing to you soon and about you having children. He told me how being around your niece only made him want to start a family with you." I blush and respond with, "Really? He said all that? As for Tucker, I feel bad he had a crush on me, because although he's far from ugly, Cameron has been the only one for me since I first moved here. And even though you're best friends with Yasmine, you seem more chill and I could see us being close. I love your brother a lot. Okay no. I'm hopelessly in love with him and maybe in the future we will have a little family of our own."
