Author's Note: Here's a longer chapter. Hope you all enjoy :") Also tell me, Who do you ship Aubrey with and why??
I wake up and catch Cameron already awake and staring at me. "Good Morning Beautiful, how was your night? Mine was wonderful with you by my side. When I opened my eyes and see your sweet face, it's a good morning beautiful day." He sings. I hide my face in his chest blushing. "Caaaaam! Nooo!" I whine. He chuckles then asks, "What's wrong Bre? You didn't like my singing?" I look up at him to see him smiling big. I shake my head and tell him, "No it was beautiful, Thank you!" He holds me and just as I believe he's going to kiss me, he says, "Well I guess we shall go in for breakfast. Tucker has texted me wanting to hang out. Mind if he joins us afterwards?" I shake my head no, answering him, "Nah. Tucker's cool. I like him. He can join us." Cameron looks away. So I ask him, "Cam what's wrong?" He sighs and asks me, "How much do you like him?" My eyes go wide realizing what I had said. So I correct it. "No no no no no! I like him as a friend. I'm not interested in him like that. If anything, I see him as an older brother I could kick it with and I bet he feels the same way." Cameron shakes his head and says, "No. I'm sure just like David he has a crush on you as well. If he doesn't he's dumb as fuck." I ask him what he means by that and he tells me, "Aubrey you are breath taking and truly amazing. Any guy would be lucky just to have a moment of your time. You didn't even have to do the make over because you were perfect just the way you were before." I blush and ask him, "Really? You mean that?" He smiles then nods. "Every word Bre every word!" We go inside for chocolate chip muffins and he texts tucker.
Cameron: Hey man. Aubrey is over but come on.
Tucker: You like her don't you?
Cameron: Man how could I not?!
Tucker: True but iight man. I'll be over soon.
Cameron: Cool cool. I'll let her know.
Tucker: Okay.
Tucker comes over within the next hour. We play a few games of Skyrim then decide to go play football. Well not really football but just taking turns throwing it back and forth. I go inside telling them I have to use the restroom. I find Cameron's journal hidden in with the magazines. I guess he reads or looks at them while he poops. I open it up and see a doodle that sorta looks like the old me with hearts around it. A doodle doesn't do it justice. He's really good at drawing, but why me? I put it back and go to his room. On his desk is another journal. I flip it open and the first page and see my name in a big heart with flowers. The second page has my name in big letters at the top and looks like the start of a song, poem or letter of some sort. Before I can read it or anything, I hear the boys come into the house. I take my shoes off and crawl into his bed pretending to asleep. They walk in and I hear Tucker say, "I don't know whether to laugh or say aww or make a dirty joke." Cameron says, "Shut up dude. She may wake up and catch us staring at her. She's so pretty when she's asleep. She looks like an angel sent from God himself, just for a peaceful sleep in my bed." Tucker interrupts him. "Man you got it bad. Dude why don't you just make a move already? Matter of a fact, I dare you to go over to her and kiss her cheek and tell her you love her." Cameron blushes and nods. "Okay but only because you know dares are my thing." He tells him. He walks over and kisses my cheek then whispers in my ear, "Bre I love you. I love you so much. I'm going insane with how much I love you." He then tells Tucker, "Let's go and let her sleep." About 10 minutes after they've left, I get up smiling to myself. He confessed again! Damn it why didn't I just turn over and kiss him?! I walk downstairs and make myself a smoothie, since he's told me his home is my home. Tucker turns back to look at me from the couch. "Could you make me one too? How about I just come help?" He asks me, coming over to me. He whispers in my ear, "Cameron really likes you girl. He's scared to make a move but I know you like him too." I ask him how and he tells me, "Aubrey I see the way you look at him and I know you weren't really asleep earlier. You blushed when we were leaving the room. Before you ask me, No I didn't tell him." I sigh and tell him, "You're right. I can't get him out of my head. I've fallen for my best friend but I don't know how to tell him." He thinks for a minute then asks me, "You two hung out all day yesterday right? What if you invite him to do something with you this time?" I bite my lip then say, "I don't know Tucker. I get shy when it comes to my feelings. I'll try though. Maybe go dancing or is that stupid? Should I ask him to go to the movies?" He smiles and questions me, "Why not do both?" I nod. "That isn't a bad idea actually. I'm not sure what to wear though. Any ideas?" He smirks then says, "Aubrey, you already know he likes black, so wear that and I suggest straightening your hair. It's really pretty like that. You're pretty regardless of it all." I cough. "Tucker You're not pulling a David move are you?" "No I'm not. You are pretty and who wouldn't want to kiss you? I won't do that to Cameron. I won't ruin my childhood friendship for doing what I should had done a long time ago." He says to me. I sigh then nod. "Thank you, for not doing so and respect that I only see you as a brother with good looks." He blushes slightly and hugs me. "Thanks little sis." He laighs all the way back to the couch. That ass! I finish our drinks and then take them theirs. Cameron blushes and asks me, "You made me one too? But I didn't ask for one." "I made you one because it would had been rude for Tucker and I to drink in front of you. Besides that, I felt like it." Tucker nudges my side, causing me to roll my eyes and him laugh again. "Cameron" I continue to say as he looks at me, "Would you like to go with me to see Beauty and the Beast? I'll pay." I smile. He takes a sip of his drink and says, "I would love to go with you to the movies. Is Tucker going too?" I shake my head. "No. Dates are usually two people only unless it's a double." He blushes deeply. "Date?" He questions me. "Yes a date unless you want it to just be a hang out?" "No no!" He cuts me off. "A date with you sounds perfect. Thank you for asking." I hug them and tell the guys I'm going to get ready. I take a shower and blow dry my hair. I straighten it like Tucker suggested and do my makeup. I then put on my outfit which consisted of a black spaghetti strap crop top and a red skirt with black heels. I know I know, I have a lot of black heels, but in my defense, a girl can never have to many shoes. Just as I finish Cameron knocks on the door. We leave ane go to the theatre. I pay for our tickets and buy us a big thing of popcorn to share, some candy and he both a drink. He complains I'm spoiling him but I ignore him. We go upstairs and barely anyone is here. I guess since it's a Sunday that would be why. It's also early and the main people here are adults and older people. During the movie I catch him staring at me a few times, but then he would look away. Our hands would also touch a few times and just when I would get up the courage to try and hold his hand, he moves it before I have the chance. We leave agreeing that it was a good movie. I ask him if he wants to go dancing and he says, "It's almost sunset, how about we go for a swim and save the dancing for later or another time?" I say, "Okay. Sounds good. Let's go home and get changed then yeah?" He says, "Yeah. Let's go." He drops me off at my house and I change quickly, throwing my hair up into a high pony tail. I go out back to see him standing by the shore. I yell, "CHICKEN!" As I jump on him. He catches me but also loses balance and we fall with me on top of him. "Sorry about that Cam." He smiles and tells me, "Don't be. I enjoyed it." I bite my lip and turn away. He picks me up and I know exactly what he's going to do. I kick and shout, "CAMERON, YOU BETTER NOT! DON'T YOU" before I could say dare he throws me in the ocean. I resurface and tell him he's a mean butt. He laughs until I push his head under. He says, "I'm going to get you for that!" I try to swim away but he stops me and holds me in his arms. I ask him, "Cameron how come I couldn't read your poem in class?" He smiles and says, "Because I was waiting for the perfect time." "It was about you and I didn't know how you would react, so I wanted to be alone with you while you read it." "Want me to recite it to you right now?" "Please" I whisper. Looking into my eyes he says, "It's called YOU!"
"You brighten my day just like the sun
Just like at night, you are my favorite star
You are more than just your looks
You give me butterflies whenever near or far
You are the warmth, I feel on a chilly day
You are my rainbow, when my days are gray
You are everything I dream love could be
And in the end, I hope it's forever you and me"
I blush as he leans in and kisses me softly. I instantly kiss back and he holds my face kissing me more passionately. We pull apart to breathe and I say, "I've been waiting for this day to come." He pecks my lips once again before saying, "Today was definitely a day to remember!"
