Hathai Baramee Vongpipan POV:

We're back at home and every time I watch how Kit is with Beam it breaks my heart.  Even more it makes me angry. Someone dared to hurt my son. MY SON!

It's no secret that of the group I'm considered the craziest one, there's a reason for that.  Of the group my retaliation is the fastest and without much thought to consequences.  That's why I married a lawyer. More accurately that why my husband became a lawyer.

These boys have been part of our lives since they were born and I love them all dearly but none more than my own son.

In my world retaliation isn't just someone getting punished for their crime. No, jail time or community service won't do for me.  Eye for an eye, that's what the westerners say. I agree with that philosophy, you cut my son I should cut you.  You struck one in the head, you should be hit, so on and so forth until every debt has been paid.  But we have to consider interest, my boys were afraid.  That means some payment must come from the families.

I won't be satisfied until everyone involved has been utterly destroyed.

We found out the police have a lead from the knife that Yo gave them.  It had fingerprints on it.  I managed to get a copy of those prints and from what Pha has told us I sent out some people to get prints from that group of girls.  I don't care how it's done as long as it gets done.

We have decided that the boys won't go back to school until we find the culprit.  We've gone to Ruang Sak's house for now.  They boys already spend their weekends there so they should be comfortable.  Although the fact that their mothers are here with them might make them hesitant but they don't have a choice.

It was three days before I got any word.  This may seem fast to some but it lasted forever for me.  My investigator sat down with all of us to explain his theory.  We decided to meet at my house. He showed us the owner of the prints and all related people.

After he left we brought the boys in to discuss the matter.  I show them the pictures to see if they recoginize any of them. I start off with the assailant.  I hold up her picture for them to see.

"I told you!!!" Pha yells as he jumps out of his seat.

"Didn't I tell you it was her?" He says looking between Beam and Kit who simply nod their heads yes.

"So who is this?" I asks.

"Um, nong Yuyee.  Beam tutored her last year.  Pha and I were there too.  He never did anything wrong, we were always there." Kit answered.

I smile at Kit.  As if I don't know my son, he would never do anything untoward.

"And this?" I hold up another picture.

Beam, Phana, Kit, and Forth shake their heads no but Wayo gets up and takes the picture from me.  He shows it to the older boys.

"This is the boy I was talking about.  The one I thought P'Kit saw." He says as he pokes at the picture.

"And finally, who is she?" I hold up the last picture.

They all look at it with blank expressions.  I know they don't know her but just in case. Then Beam's eyes open wide.

"Mae, didn't her mom work for us? Didn't she come here after school sometimes?"

I turn and study the picture.  This could be her now that he says that.  I never saw the girl, just the mother but she died a few years ago.  A victim of abuse her husband finally beat her to death.  He went to prison.

"Well?" Beam brings me back.

"Well if she is May's daughter that explains how she knows you.  From what we have learned this girl had feelings for you." I explain.
