Brooke's POV:

"So you graduated second in your class?" Grayson asked wide eyed causing me to chuckle. "Is that hard to believe?" I joke. "No no no. Not at all." He smiled brightly and looked down at the glass of whine in his hand.

After our date Grayson brought me back to his place to talk a bit more and drink a little since we were too young to order it at the restaurant.

"So grades and school must be very important to you." He states looking up at me. All I do is nod. "That's why you're so busy." He chuckles. I laugh along with him. "I also have a job you know to help pay for my books and you know bills and such." I tease.

"So you pay for all of that yourself?" He asked wide eyed. "No. Not everything. My parents help out as much as they can." I say talking with my hands a bit.

I take a sip of my whine and a question pops into my head. I'm not quite sure if I should ask it though. I decide to. "Do you help pay for stuff?" I ask swallowing the lump in my throat.

"I pay for my phone bill and food. That's about it." He chuckles looking down at his hands yet again. "I'm not as stellar as you are I guess." He says with a soft smile.

"I don't know. The parties you throw beg to differ." I tease and he throws his head back in laughter which causes my smile to grow. God he's gorgeous.

"I love your smile." He blurts and I know my cheeks are pink. "I like your laugh." I snap back.

He scoots closer but I don't mind. I don't protest against it.

He places his hand on my cheek and runs his thumb across it gently causing the hairs on the back of my neck to stick up.

He closes the space between us and places his lips on mine. It's different from our other kisses. It's soft and passionate in a way and when he pulls away I want more.

There's a smile on both of our faces and I take it upon myself to attach our lips yet again. He smiles into the kiss and I'm loving every minute of it.

"Will you stay?" He ask as we pull away for a second time. It was quite late. "I have to work early in the morning and I wouldn't want to wake you up." I chuckle looking down at my hands and pushing a strand of my hair behind my ear.

"Oh okay." He mutters seeming somewhat disappointed when I stand up.

He stands up with me and offers to lead me to the door.

As he swings the door open I turn back around to face him. "Maybe I'll see you tomorrow." I say with a bright smile on my face. A smile tugs at the edge of his lips.

"Maybe." He smirks causing me to roll my eyes.

I give him a quick peck and I turn to make my way home. I can't believe I kissed him before I left. I'm already acting as if he's my boyfriend. Maybe I wouldn't mind that. Tonight was perfect.
