Brooke's POV:

"So you're telling me you're gonna drive the whole way there?" I ask as Grayson puts my suitcase in the trunk. "Yeah." He shrugs. "I can drive too you know. We could take turns." I say knowing it's quite a long drive.

"You had to work this morning. You need some rest." He says pecking my forehead and making his way to the drivers seat. I roll my eyes and make my way to the passengers seat.

We decided to take Grayson's car since he's gonna be doing all the driving apparently.

The cars warm because he warmed it up before we got in and it feels great.

It's so cold outside now and it sucks.

I shiver a little as I buckle up the seatbelt and he chuckles at my shaking hands.

"You can turn up the heat if you'd like." He grins. "Oh. I'll be fine." I mutter as I watch him shift the car into drive.

We fall silent as I start to warm up. Soon it gets super warm and cozy and my eyelids become heavy. I can't help but fall asleep. I had a long day at work.

Grayson's POV:

We haven't even been driving for a half hour and she's already asleep. I chuckle to myself as I remember her volunteering to drive. I knew she was gonna fall asleep.

I look over at her and she looks so peaceful. Her big jacket makes her look snug up against the door and her mouth is open a little.

She's so beautiful. I tell her that all the time. I know we're not dating or anything but sometimes I like to think and act like we are.

I could see myself settling down and dating her. She's the only girl I've met that I've had a true connection with and I like her a lot. I'm just scared to ask her. She seems kind of scared of relationships so I'm not sure how she'd react.

I've thought several times of just asking her while we're at my parent's house. She won't have anywhere to avoid me and she'll have to answer me.

It could either be a good or bad idea.
