Remembering

Shayne's POV

I love Courtney.
I know it's not the best choice to others but I don't mind having to remind her.
I know she'll never love me back but I have to try.
Everyday has been good with her except once.
It been a week since I told Kari I loved her.
She called me over to tell me to stay away but I can't just give up on Courtney
I love her.
Yes I've done a bit of stalking but just so I know where she usually goes to eat
And sometimes I'll pay for her food which starts conversation
Every time I talk with her she'll always give me a certain look.
I love that look.

Courtney's POV
I walk into a restaurant and see a guy. I go sit next to him since he looked nice.
We introduced each other and after 3 hours of just sitting there talking non stop,I felt something.
I felt like I liked someone.
And that someone was Shayne.
It was a Sunday so we decided to just spend the rest of the day at lake just out of town.
We had brought swimwear and towels before leaving the town.
So once we got there we got changed into our swimwear and went in
It was a clean lake so I didn't have much to worry about.
We played a bunch of games and even just floated around with each other
I enjoyed spending time with Shayne.
It was a lot of fun to just relax.
We played tag and I had been it.
I got Shayne by pushing him down  and when he got up he looked shocked and amazed
I started to swim away so he couldn't catch me.
I turn around he tackles me into the water
When we got up he had been holding me around my waist
I wrapped my arms around his neck.
We just stared at each other.
I then notice that Shayne is a very good looking guy with a great personality
How could someone be so perfect
We gazed at my eyes then a small look to my lips
He leaned in and kissed me
I felt like something sparked
I grabbed his hair gently bringing his head closer
It was a full make-out we were having
After a bit we slowly pulled apart giving space between our faces
His hands on my hips and my arms around his neck
I smiled which made him smile
He chuckled which made me laugh
and then Shayne said something I'll never forget
Shayne-I love you
I smiled and blushed
I guess that feeling was love
Courtney-I love you too.
We kissed once more but a short nice one
We both got out the lake and went to go change behind some bushes and trees.
Once we both finish we head in the car and drive back home
We sing to any song that came on
Even if we didn't know the song,we would try
He parked at my door and walked me there
Courtney-Thanks Shayne
I said feeling my cheeks burning up
Shayne-No problem
I get my keys and enter the house
Courtney-See ye later Shayne
He does a small wave and heads back to his car
I close the door and go to Kari.
Courtney-Kari!!!
I open the door to her room and see her just laying there
She sits up and looks at me with curiosity
Kari-What's up?
Courtney-We'll I met a guy named Shayne and we talked for a bit until we decided to go to a lake. We got into our suits and played a bunch of games. Then..... we kissed! It was the best feeling I've ever had.
I look at her for a reaction
But she looks kinda annoyed and frustrated with a forced smile
I leave her room and head to my own
I lay on my bed and think of Shayne
Courtney-I'll never forget you
