Lunch Date?

Shayne's POV
As I wake up my mind wanders towards Courtney. I then remembered that I have a lunch date with Courtney at 1:30.
I dress in a casual outfit still wanting to look nice for our date.
I do my hair and get ready to go to the office.
I hope it goes well.

Courtney's POV
I wake up and look through my phone. I don't like my recent apps to be open so I go to close them and notice my phone open. I go on the app and see a guy named Shayne added to my phone. I don't know,maybe he's an old friend.
I get up and try to forget this Shayne guy. I get changed and decide to make waffles for my and Kari,since my mom already left. And then for lunch I'll go to a chicken and rice grill. (Waba Grill,for those who've been there ;)

I finish eating and decided to go for a walk around my neighborhood.
Today's gonna be great

Shayne's POV
I arrive at the office not knowing I had a stupid grin on my face.
Noah-So,why are you smiling?
Shayne-Uh,what
Noah-You've got a stupid grin on your face
Shayne-Sorry I was just thinking.
Keith-About who?
Keith said walking in,late as usual
Olivia-Does Shayne have a crush?

Keith-You never answered our question
I look at them all in an annoying way
Noah-So,who's on your mind?
Shayne-A girl I had breakfast with yesterday.
Olivia-Oooooh
Noah-So like did you ask her out for breakfast?
Keith-We'll obviously Noah,a girl doesn't just come by and sits next to you and all of a sudden it's a date
He thumps his head
Noah-Ow
Shayne-Well guys,that's exactly what happened. She came over to me and we talked and it carried on for 3 hours.
Olivia-Is that why you were late yesterday
Shayne-Yeah
Noah thumps Keith's head this time as payback
Keith-So you didn't lose your keys and then found them in your drawer
Shayne-No
Olivia-So did you get her number?
Shayne-Yeah
Noah-Hold your guy's shit!
Olivia-What?
Noah-What's her name?
Keith-Shit,how did we forget that question
He said starting his 5 second chuckle
Shayne-Her name is...
Olivia-Wait!

Olivia-Can we guess her name?

It took them a few seconds till I actually heard an answer

Noah-Alex
Shayne-Well shit guys
Olivia-Did we get it right
Shayne-No
Shayne-Her name is Courtney
When I said her name I didn't realized I smiled until they started to give me puppy love eyes.
Shayne-Shut up
We end our discussion and head back to work. Olivia and Keith went to film some footage for a vlog,and me and Noah stayed in our little room
I was working on a script and he was playing with a paddle and a ping pong ball.
It was pretty silent in the room but eventually me and Noah started to talk about random stuff.
When Olivia and Keith came back we decided it'd be time for lunch so they went to pick up some tacos while I waited until 1:20 until I left
After what seemed like forever I started to head out for my date with Courtney

Courtney's POV
As I'm walking it's about 1:20 so I decided to go to a place called Waba Grill that seems pretty nice.
I head there with me starving
I walk in and I see a guy with blondish brownish hair waiting by the door. I enter and he greets me
?-Hey
Courtney-Hi
I walk pass him and he holds my arm
Courtney-What are you doing?
?-I'm here for our date,that's today.
Courtney-You have the wrong person
?-Cmon Courtney
Courtney-How do you know my name and who are you?
Shayne-I'm Shayne,Shayne Topp
Courtney-I don't know a Shayne Topp
I then remember his name on my phone
Shayne-Courtney,I'm not kidding. We met yesterday for breakfast
Courtney-Liar,I don't remember you and how did you put your number on my phone?!

Shayne's POV

I notice everyone is looking at us in the restaurant
Shayne-Can we talk outside
She nods and I open the door for her
Courtney-Now,answer my question!
Shayne-It was at breakfast,I added my number and you added yours. See?
I show Courtney her contact on my phone.
Courtney-You liar! Your just a creepy stalker!
Shayne-I'm not. I asked you out yesterday.
I try not to get mad because she really hasn't forgotten me since yesterday
Has she?
Courtney-Just leave me alone!
Shayne-Courtney!
Courtney-Listen,if you want to do something then walk me to my house!
I nod and walk her to her house
We make it after 15 minutes
We walk up the stairs to her door
Shayne-Listen Courtney,I don't know why your being like this,but I'm sorry.
Courtney-Please,
She knocks on the door and who I assume is her sister opens
She looked scared,shocked,and worried.
Kari-Courtney,get inside.Now
She leaves and head upstairs
Kari comes outside with me
Kari-What the hell do you think your doing?!
Shayne-Are you serious?! I had breakfast with her yesterday and asked her out for a lunch date,and she acted like she doesn't know me! If she wasn't interested she should've just told me!
Kari-That's because she doesn't know you!
Shayne-Like hell she does.
Kari-Listen. I'm not trying to say this badly but she doesn't remember the day before each day.
Shayne-What do you mean?
Kari-She got into an accident,and it messed her up in a way where she's only capable of keeping memories from before the crash. She doesn't remember each day after that.
Shayne-So she doesn't remember me
I say upset
Kari-Yeah
Shayne-Umm,thanks. Tell her I said sorry.
Kari-Sorry
Shayne-But what if I love her?
Kari-I don't know. Now go.
Shayne-Alright bye
She nods and heads back in
I walk back to the office with the squad waiting there
They see my upset face and start their asking
Olivia-What happened?
Noah-She stood you up?
Keith-Has a boyfriend?
I shake my head.
Noah-The what's wrong
Shayne-The date didn't happen
Olivia-Why?
Shayne-Because she doesn't remember me.
