I was absolutely hoping for something like this to happen
"Courtney"- Is there something I can help you with?
Shayne-Nothing
I said smiling sweetly
I walk out
Shit
I head back to the lobby
I go to the lady who had helped me
Lady-Hi,is there a problem?
Shayne-Yeah! There fucking is!
Lady-Please lower your voice.
I take a deep breath
Shayne- I got the wrong room number. I'm looking for Courtney Miller
She started typing on her keyboard
She looked shocked
Lady-We might have mistaken who your here to visit
Shayne-Nope,I'm here for Courtney Miller
Lady-That's the thing. We thought you said Karlee Miller
I bang the desk
Lady-Sir,calm yourself or I'm going to call security
Shayne-Like hell I will! Kick me out for all you want! Pieces of shit!
I storm out there with security behind me
Once I'm at the entrance they push me out
Shayne-I think I get the fucking message! Assholes!
I go sit on the bench outside
I run my fingers through my hair
I just want to find her
I started crying a bit
Girl-Are you okay?
I look up
Shayne-I'm fine
Girl-Are you sure?
Shayne-Yes I'm sure¡
I said raising my voice
Girl-Just asking
She kinda just stood there
Girl-Did you hear about that accident?
I raise my head
Shayne-What accident
Girl-There was an accident about 7 miles away from time square,actually an hour away from here
Shayne-Do you know what hospital they went to?
Girl-Burmington Hospital
(Idk if that's a real fucking hospital in New York???)
Shayne-Do you know who was in the accident
I stood up
Please let it be Courtney
Girl-Umm it was something Miller. Cathy,Courtney or something like that
I hold her and start crying
Shayne-Thank you so fucking much!
Girl-umm no problem
I start to run to the car
I opened the door and started heading to the hospital
I guess without my mistakes
I would have never had a clue on where to look
