Courtney's POV
I move around still sleeping. I move my arm to feel something
I open my eyes slowly
I look down to see me still wearing an undershirt with shorts
I look to the right of me to see a shirtless man.
Where am I?
He turns my way and opens his eyes
?-Good morning
I open my mouth in shock
?-Shit. Okay listen before you say anything...
Courtney-Where am I?!
I get up moving towards the door
He makes it there before me and closes it as soon as I open it
Courtney-Let me go!
?-Just sit down and I'll explain it to you.
I try to hit him but he grabs my arm before I do.
?-Please,Courtney! I want to explain
I look at him,scared that he knew my name
I sit down wanting to trust him.
?-Thank you
?-My Name is Shayne. And I'm going to sound crazy but, you have memory loss. So you can't remember each day. And one way to prove it is. Think of what happened yesterday. You cant remember it. Another thing. Me and you love each other,and most days I have to make you love me in one day,because I can't stand a day without you saying it.
Courtney-Why am I here though?
Shayne-You were really upset with your family and decided to stay with me.
Courtney-Oh,ummm did I bring clothes
He nods and shows me to the guest room where I had left my clothes on the bed
I get changed and leave the room with my stuff in my hands
Courtney-I'm gonna head home,okay?
Shayne-Yeah,I'll drive you there.
I smile and nod
Courtney-Thanks
We head to the car and start to drive off
We talked a bit and he even made me laugh a couple of times
He's a really nice guy and I could see why yesterday me was sure enough to stay with him
We finally arrived
I opened the door to the car and was about to close it
Shayne-Courtney?
Courtney-Yeah
Shayne-Do you wanna hang out with me today?
I looked at him confused
Courtney-why?
Shayne-I don't want you to feel like it was a one night stand.
I roll my eyes
Shayne-I mean it. I love you.
Courtney-Listen Shayne,I like you and all,but I just wanna be home right now
He nods
Courtney-Sorry
Shayne-It's okay
I walk in and go to my room and lock the door
I fall asleep
