~2 weeks later~
Courtney's POV
Me and Shayne talked about this. About a lot of it.
We we could see each other,or when he could visit
But there weren't a lot of those days or opportunities
I am going to miss him,his friends even if I've spend a bit of time with them,and most importantly my mom and sister.
I'll even miss the way the city smells
My mom and sister drove me to the airport along with Shayne
They stayed with me until I got checked in.
Shayne was still with me though
We both sit and wait for flight to be called
We wait outside near a fountain
Courtney-Are you sure I should do this?
I gulp,hoping for him to say I should stay,but another side wanting him to support me
Speaker-Flight 815 for New York
We both made eye contact
Looking into each other's eyes already seeing us miss each other
He gets and and extends his hand out
I take it and we start walking
We get in the line pretty late leaving us at the back
Shayne-Courtney,I don't ever want you putting me before your career. I know it sounds weird but,you've wanted this for a while. So go.
He says weakly smiling at me.
I smile back
I hand the lady my ticket and once I cross the mark the glass door shuts
I look back at Shayne
I hear him say
Shayne-I don't want you to go
After he gives me a loving smile
I try and go back but my flight was about to leave
On my way outside I shed a tear
Knowing Shayne sacrificed what he wanted for me to have a great opportunity
I really do love that man
I board the plane finding my seat
Thank god I didn't share a row with anyone
The only person I can think about is Shayne.
I'm gonna miss that fucker
I smile knowing I'll see him soon
And when I do
Ill be there to remember him
Or that's what I thought
