Courtney's POV

Kari-Now you can finally go to NYU!
I remember saying to my mom and sister about that
I nod
Not thinking about Shayne
Courtney-But do you think the whole thing still stands
Kari-We get a letter every 3 months about the opportunity still standing since you had one of the top 10 GPA
I squeal from excitement
Kari-So will you take it?
I think about
Courtney-...
Kari-We'll are you?
Courtney-I don't know? Can I have today to think about it?
She nods a bit disappointed
I take a shower and get changed into fresh clothes
I don't know what I'm going to do. I want to go and get a degree in performing arts ( I'm not sure if that's a degree you can get there but lets just say it is ;)
But I also want to stay here with my family. As I start to think about this decision I think of Shayne
Shayne!
I have to tell him about this
I quickly get out of the bathroom with my hair in a messy bun,and head out.
This is probably already the millionth time but this was really important.
I quickly head to Shayne's house,hoping for him to still be there.
I knock on his door and after a few seconds he answers.
Shayne- Hi Courtney. Is everything alright? Did you...
I quickly grab his hand and lead him inside his own house and he closes the door.
Shayne-Are you alright?
Courtney- Yes and no! I told my sister about everything with me remembering,and she brought up an offer that has been standing for about 2 years.
Shayne-What is it?
Courtney- I got an offer to attend NYU!
I say seeing his normal expression turn into a forced upset smile
Shayne- I'm so happy for you!
He said a bit enthusiastic,but you could hear that he was upset.
Courtney- Listen, I know you're upset about this and so am I,but I can't give up this offer. I mean it's been standing for 2 years. I can't just decline.
Shayne- I understand.
Courtney- But I won't go if you don't want me to. I mean I love you and I don't want to lose you. So could you please tell me if I should stay or go?
He gulps and nods
He stays silent for around an hour before he said something
Shayne- Courtney, I want you to go.
My eyes widen
Courtney- Really?
Shayne- Yes. I want you to take the offer.
I nod
I lean in and lay on his chest with his arm rapped around my shoulder.
Shayne- I'm gonna miss you
He says kissing the top of my head.
Courtney- Me too.

Hi guys. I know I haven't updated in a while,but I hope you guys can forgive me as there is a lot of stuff happening in my life. Iv'e tried to update but it was always something. So once again please forgive me for my lack of posting.

I'll try to post tomorrow,even if it's a short or bad one
