Courtney's POV
I'm in the hospital. What am I doing here I look out the open window Why he hell am I in New York?! I look down to my body I had needles in me A patch on my arm. I was gonna start to pull my stuff out when a doctor Doctor- Ahh, I see you're awake. How are you feeling? Courtney- Why am I here Doctor- I was told not to tell you, someone else will. Courtney- I feel fine, why am I in New York? He just went outside and came back in with my Mom and Sister. There was also this guy who came in. He had blondish brownish hair, with blue eyes, and a fit body He looked worried and anxious. Mom- It's okay sweetie, this man here is going to tell you what happened I looked at him He smiled sweetly I smiled back Courtney- okayyy They walked out Courtney- Who are you? Shayne- My name is Shayne, Shayne Topp. I don't know why, but that name sounds familiar Shayne- I'm your boyfriend When I heard those words, I just froze I don't remember having a boyfriend Courtney- I don't have a boyfriend Shayne- That's because you don't remember me asking you. You have something like short term memory loss. You got into a car accident and can't remember any day after that. I just froze I got chills down my spine and arms Courtney- You're joking right? He shakes his head Courtney- Bullshit! Shayne- Courtney, I swear. I started to cry. He was telling the truth and I know it Courtney- You're really my boyfriend? Shayne- Yes, I swear Courtney- Do you love me? Shayne- With all of my heart. It might feel weird saying it now since you don't remember me, but I swear I love you, with every inch of my body, soul, and mind. My heart dropped. This guys loves me, and I don't remember him I unhooked everything Shayne- What are you doing? He said worried I didn't respond I had to do something I got out of bed and tried walking towards him but fell But he caught me before I could fall completely I just cried in his chest Shayne- Hey it's okay He was stroking my hair with his hands It was comforting Courtney- I'm sorry I don't remember you. Shayne- It's okay, it's not your fault He helped me and and carried me bridal style back into bed I just sat there I made space for him to sit down He sat Courtney- I'm really sorry I don't remember you. I feel horrible. Shayne- It's not your fault. Stop crying. He wiped my tears with his eyes He kept his hand on my cheek We just stared at each other. Our eyes locked together. I feel like I could stare into his eyes forever He leant in Our lips touched. It was a sweet, soft, passionate kiss. And I kissed back I felt like everything was going to be better. Suddenly, I get flashes. Of him Or was us, we kissed, smiled, and laughed with each other I remember him. When our kiss ends, I pull him back Courtney- I told you He just smiled and continues kissing me We pull apart Shayne- Great to have you back Courtney- You too
