Chapter 14: Not Strong Enough

~Flashback~

Yeah I was scared. This thing was terrifying. It took a quick glance at Sora barely noticeable and directed its attention to us. Then it charges fangs bared ready to strike.

~Flashback end~

"Remember what I taught you (Y/n)!" Kikiyu exclaimed.

"YOU DIDN'T TEACH ME ANYTHING BAKA!" I yelled back. Ciel and Sebastian sweatdropped. 'It doesn't matter anyways.. I have to protect Ciel. I trust Sebastian but..Let's hurry up and get this over with.'  Dodging left and right. Up and down. It had its sight set on me for the time being. I didn't mind since it wasn't hurting my friends. This was fast though I had no time to get a hit in. Kikiyu couldn't do anything either because he would hit me. Everyone just stood there watching. The air was so thick you could cut it with a knife.

'Maybe if I could grow my wings I could sweep them across its feet. Arawareru' I focused and swept my wings under its feet. At first it looked like it would work but then the beast jumped. 'Dammit! I don't have a backup plan and now it has momentum'  The beast did exactly what I feared and pushed me down.

"(Y/N)!" Sebastian yelled. I managed to block his claws with my sword but not before getting another wound. Thus time it was on my arm.

I felt the warm substance roll down my arm. 'WHY? WHY ME? I should take the offensive when I get up then..' I swiftly kicked it off me and changed the way I was hold my sword so one was behind my back and one was in front of me. 'Here we go.' I charged with full momentum at the beast and swung my blades. Get this IT TURNED INTO A HUMAN WITH CLAWS. 'ARE YOU FLUCKING SERIOUS! I'M DONE WITH THIS BULL'  "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!? I'M DONE. NOPE! NOPE! FLUCK IT!" Everyone sweatdropped. I reached my breaking point swinging my swords not giving it a chance to strike back.

"Don't let anger consume you!" Kikiyu tried to warn be but it was too late.

Here is where my luck comes in...... I tripped on a branch. (Nice one ;-;) 'FLUCK FLUCK FLUCK FLUCK FLUCK FLUCK!!!!'  While I was face first on the ground the beast took this chance and help me down with its foot. A sudden pain went through my back. 'I FORGOT I HAD MY WINGS OUT THIS ISN'T GOING TO END WELL! I can't move them maybe they were broken? I hope not.. Everything hurts.. I can't get up. It keeps cutting me'  CRACK! I froze. Another crack could be heard. 'I don't want to show weakness here.. I think it broke one of my wings and an arm. I.. Can't Stay Awake..'

~Fukikiyu's POV~

'(Y/n)... (Y/n) No.. NO NO NO! IT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE THIS!!!'  I drew my swords and swiftly stabbed through his chest with a dead look in my eyes. With my other sword I cut off his head. I rushed over to (Y/n). "(Y/N)! COME ON! WAKE UP?! IF I WOULD'VE KNOWN IT COULD DO THAT I WOULD'VE KILLED IT SOONER... It's my fault... All my fault (Y/n).. WHY ARE YOU JUST STANDING THERE? WHERE IS THE SAFE HOUSE!?" Sebastian finally snapped out of it and said it was a just past the forest. I grabbed (Y/n) bridal style and walked to Ciel. "Ciel you come with me. Get on my back now."

"What?!" He looked over to Sebastian and he gave him a nod. "Fine."

"Good I need you there."

"Back now!" He climbed on my back and I quickly flew off. "I suggest you hold on tight!"

"That was a given!"

I increased my speed and got there within 3 minutes. Ciel got off my back and quickly lead me into a bedroom where I lay (Y/n). I looked at Ciel with a serious glint in my eyes. "Do you trust me Ciel?" He nodded clearly worried for his sister. "Will you allow me to do ANYTHING to save her?"

"YES! Do what you have to do already! Sebastian hurry up and get here!"

"Sorry my lord. I had to dispose of the body."

"Hn. Get him whatever he needs to help (Y/n)."

"Yes, my lord. What do you need Fukikiyu?"

~Inside Y/n's mind~

Everything around me was dark. I was inside of some sort of room. "How disappointing (Y/n).. I had much higher hopes for you.."

"Who are you?!"

"Shame you don't remember me? I do look different though. Doesn't matter. I hoped you were stronger than this (Y/n)...."

"Well.. I am weak.. I couldn't protect them. I couldn't even protect myself!"

"Tsk tsk. If you wanted power just ask my sweet. You have the key just unlock the gates.." I felt two arms push me forward and I saw a door. "That my sweet is it. Unlock the doors.. Release the powers! You know you want it.."

"I-I" I walked forward to the door and opened it. A blinding light obstructed my vision and I heard a faint voice in the distance.

"Good child... Continue" It felt really hot like fire but then there was water and a breeze. Green grass and pretty stars in the sky.

~Fukikiyu's POV~

"Arigato Sebastian.."

"You're welcome Fukikiyu but I have questions.." Ciel walked out of the room. "Talk demon I still have to put her bone in pla-...It's shattered.. I can still put her wing in place though."

"Yes.. You said you could've killed it sooner? Why didn't you?" I looked down. "I didn't think she would get hurt.. I would never want her to get hurt.. It's my fault." I explained putting a cast on her arm. "Gomen ne..(Y/n) Gomen ne..."

~(Y/n)'s POV~

I slowly opened my eyes to see Fukikiyu looking at me. "Gomen ne Fukikiyu... I failed." Sebastian and Fukikiyu looked at me surprised.

"What's wrong?"

"Y-your eyes..." I blinked and they were back to normal "What's wrong with them?" 'Be careful (Y/n) you mustn't show the demon your eyes... It will end bad. He will want your power.' 

"Nothing.."
"Thank you Kikiyu and Sebastian but I'll just sleep this off.. It won't take long to heal. Look! I can already move my arm!"

They looked surprised. "Fukikiyu I thought you said that bone was shattered?"

"It was.. Even we can't heal that fast though.."

'OI keep a low profile! I can't risk being figured out! My father wouldn't be pleased... Farewell my sweet.' After he finished that sentence I glanced over and saw a black serpent exiting through the window.
