Walking along the sidewalk
Broken, belligerent strides
A sick night
With a daunting surprise
At the end.
But it is the beginning
Somehow
Everyday
The mirror is like an ocean
It is deep and warped
The waves crashing against my hips
Hitting my ribs
My skin paler than before
But the memory is gone
Blurred into one, same world.
Time drops, passing quickly
Never quick enough.
