Head in the Woods

"Jacob," she says.

"Yes?" I ask, completely forgetting my argument with Ethan.

"Jacob."

"Jacob!"

"JACOB."

What the hell? Why the fuck am I back at the road?

"What?" I say confused as hell.

"You zoned out! Come on we are running from Angelina and Ethan!" She implies, shaking my shoulders.

"Wait what?" I ask again.

"You just zoned out in the middle of the street! Come on we have to go," she rushes.

It was literally all a fucking daydream? What the fuck.

She starts running and I run along with her, we find a bush and hide in it.

"What was your daydream about?" She wonders.

"You got hit by a car," I state.

"Oh that's nice," she says sarcastically.

"No like, you actually did, and I ran up to you and Angelina and Ethan came, the police came and you were sent to the hospital. And then your mom came and Ethan and I got into a fight about you," I inform.

"Oh wow," was all she said.

"It made me realize something though. It made me realize that I like you too," I confess. "It made me realize that I could lose you any second, and I don't want to lose you."

She just stares at me, her face showing no emotion.

-Stars P.O.V-

He likes me. He actually likes me. And all it took was a daydream that I almost died. I have no clue what to do or say.

Instead of saying words, I open and close my mouth, looking like a fish. Wow that's nice, he confesses to me and I just sit over here looking like a fish.

"I," I start, but I'm soon cut off Jacobs lips pressing onto mine, however, this time it's different.

Instead of being rough like he usually is, it's slow and passionate. He bites my lip, his hand cupping my face. We are seriously kissing behind a bush right now.

I hear footsteps in which my head instantly snaps up. Crap. Ethan and Angelina. I stop kissing Jacob and tell him to shush.

"Where are they?" Angelina groans.

"I don't know," Ethan answers.

"Oh god, think about tomorrow at school, how fucking awkward it's going to be," She grimaces.

"I know, I just didn't think we would actually get caught," Ethan cringes.

"Come on, lets go," Angelina waves, signaling Ethan to follow her.

"Star wait," Jacob whispers, grabbing my shoulder.

"Yea?" I ask.

"Never mind," he sighs, letting go of my shoulder. I shrug it off and continue climbing through the bushes.

"Come on! Hurry!" I laugh.

I hear him huff and can't help but laugh.

"Who lit the fuse to your tampon?" I grin.

He sends me an icy glare and continues walking. Geez, what's wrong with him? I snap out of my thoughts as soon as I feel cold hard cement against my face.

"Oww," I grumble.

I seriously just fell. Great, now he's probably laughing at me. I try to get up and feel a stinging pain on my left forearm.
