Maybe it was from the shock of it all, maybe it all just became to much, maybe Betty was ill, one thing is for certain, Jughead, Veronica and Kevin where beyond worried for Betty.
Jughead slowly picked Betty up and took her into a separate room to place her on a bed and make sure she was all rapped up and warm.
Jughead was still completely oblivious to why this all happened but he was sure Veronica knew.
So he went and fount out.
'Veronica, I think you have some explaining to do, what the fuck happened' Jughead almost shouted.
'Archie' Veronica whispered.
That's all Veronica had to say to make Jughead completely flip.
'ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME' He shouted with so much hatred in his voice 'WHAT THE FUCK DID THE LITTLE WHORE DO THIS TIME'
Veronica slowly got her phone out, she had never seen someone so mad before.
Jughead scrolled through the messages.

'THIS IS THE LAST OF THIS, BETTY IS GETTING HERSELF HURT, I MEAN JUST LOOK WHAT HAPPENED ALREADY, WHO'S TO SAY IT WONT AGAIN, does Archie even know?' Jughead screamed.
To which veronica replied, 'No, he doesn't, and matter of fact I still don't exactly know what happened with Betty, please explain'
'Okay so I was minding my own business taking some photos of the lake and everything from the bridge when I saw Betty, she was just standing there, I thought nothing of it really but then...She..Jumped, so I ran and jumped after her, out of complete and utter shock.' Jughead said, at the edge of tears.
'You saved my best friends life, Jughead Jones.' Veronica thanked.
Jughead just nodded.
He needed to talk to Betty, he knew she wasn't okay, that was a fact, he needed to be there for her, even if its not what she wanted.
He could hear Betty's sobs through the thin walls, she sounded so broken, so lost. Her feelings reflected this.
Jughead slowly walked towards the room and knocked on the door, signalling to her that he was about to enter.
When he walked in the temperature dropped like it does in horror movies. Almost as if Betty's feelings had become the room. It was dark and eerie, the room itself was full of sadness, let alone Betty.
'Do I have permission to stay' Jughead whispered.
'Depends, Are you just going to tell me you told me so' she said in between sobs
'Betts, I..I'm here for you even if you don't want me to be'
'Does Archie know' Betty flinched at the thought of him.
'No. How about we go somewhere more private, quiet and not full of my nosy roomates.' Jughead said slightly laughing.
'Why did you save me, Jughead, Why didn't you leave me to drown.' She wimpered
'Because, Betty, I am head over heals for you, because you are beautiful and smart and caring, despite the fact Archie is such a dick to you, you are so loving, so caring and thats what I love about you, no matter how many people do you wrong, you always have room for forgiveness' Jughead spoke.
'Can we just go then, I can't face V right now'
'Fair enough, Lets go'
And with that they went, Jughead quickly told Veronica where they were going, she understood and to be completely honest she was so hoping Betty and Jughead had a moment, but then again aren't all of us ;)
Jughead carried Betty out, cradling er in his arms, caring for her fragile body.
He taken her back to there Betty's apartment, he knew Veronica wouldn't be coming back for a while.
The door was unlocked.
'So,Betty, are you ready to talk' Jughead said, placing Betty on the couch.
'I..I guess so' Betty whispered.
'Okay, I know this is the last thing you are probably thinking about last now, but are you really going to put yourself through this again, because if you do, I don't think I can handle seeing you hurt so much' Jughead said, finding it difficult to meet Betty's eyes.
Betty didn't reply.
She just sat there thinking.

Hey guys, sorry this chapter is so short, Ive been really busy these last few days packing my things up getting ready for a paris trip Im going on this friday,

So I wont be able to update for a while whilst I am there.
