And for one night, Betty and Jughead could be like a normal couple, if thats what you wanted to call them, they cuddled, laughed and were able to act  like everything was normal but deep down Betty knew it couldn't be like this forever. 

There was always that small doubt in the back of her mind, ever since the whole Archie situation, always telling her she isn't good enough, that soon Jughead would get bored, cheat on her or leave her like every other boy,every other stupid boy that treated such a sweet girl like shit. Betty Cooper deserved better.

When Betty had awoken in Jugheads arms she knew immediately today was the day she needed to talk to Kevin, someone who she once loved with all her heart now hated her, because of a stupid selfish action.

Betty tried to move without waking Jughead, clearly she didn't do the best job as he shot open as soon as she moved the slightest bit.

'You tryina sneak away, like last time, princess?'He whispered in Betty's ear.

'No, No, Im just trying to sort things out today, I have a lot to do, a lot.' Betty half smiled.

'Ah, Kevin, I see. I'm sure if you sit down and talk with him he'll understand, just like Veronica understood.' He comforted.

'He was my bestfriend Jug, and I betrayed him, I told Veronica about my plan before it even happened, I just don't think I can bare the thought of loosing him' Betty frowned.

'Betts, Listen, you are the sweetest person I know and what you did hurt us all, yes, but he is, not was, is your bestfriend and Im sure he will understand'

And with that Betty hugged Jughead and whispered 'Wish me luck' as she picked up the phone to talk to Kevin

*Ring Ring*

K: What is it? 

B: Kevin, I'm sorry, really I am, what I did was so selfish and cruel, I know I put you through hell, but I need you to understand I wasnt in a good place and I needed an escape, But I knew Archie would come looking for me, or jughead, so I faked suicide instead.

K: SUICIDE ISNT SOMETHING YOU LIE ABOUT BETTY, ITS SERIOUS.

B: I know, Kev, I know.

K: Oh but Betty you dont, you have no idea, I loved you to pieces and you have just lost all my trust in you, Im surprised Jughead wants you still, after all of this and damn, veronica is just as big a fool as him.

* Bleep Bleep*

Tears were now streaming down Betty's face, just when she thought her nightmare life was over, she looses her bestfriend.

Jughead walks over to Betty, pulling her into a deep hug.

'Betty, I know this isnt going to be easy, but I need you to make me a promise' Jughead whispered into Betty's ear.

'What is it?' She sobbed.

'Promise me you wont jump off of a bridge this time, I cant bare to loose you a third time, because I really like you Betty Cooper and Kevin is a fool for not understanding'

'Thanks Jug, I appreciate you being here, after everything we have been through'

'Anything for you, princess.'
