Friday. Finally. I raced from the building, to Marcus's truck. Surprisingly, Haley wasn't there with him.
"Hey Marc." I grinned, approaching the vehicle. He looked up at me grinning.
"Hey Lynnie." He said, giving me a small side hug. I felt a slight tingle from his touch, as I pulled away.
"Oh Marky!" Screeched an annoyingly familiar voice.
"Haley!" He grinned, wrapping her in a hug, kissing her head. I sighed, leaning on his truck. "Want to hang out tonight? I'm completely free. I'm. All. Yours." She smirked, walking her fingers up his chest. He smirked, leaning down to kiss her. He placed his lips upon hers as I felt a slight tug at my heart. He pulled away, and glanced at me, frowning.
"I would love to," he started, her facing lighting up. "but Friday had always been Lynnie's night. Sorry babe." He frowned. She sighed, glaring at me.
"Okay. Next week then." She said, flipping her hair. He grinned nodding, kissing her again.
"Actually, my Friday night is every week. Do you can have him on Sunday or during the week. Saturday, our families are going to the movies." I smirked. She made a slight growl, as Marcus faced me.
"Right. Sorry baby. I'll see you Sunday?" He suggested. She face him, smiling.
"Of course. Love you." She said, getting on her tip toes to kiss him once again.
"Love you too." He smiled, as she strutted off. I froze, the second those words left his mouth.
I love you
He told Haley Cumpet I love you. He never told his girls I love you. Those three words and eight letters were never in his vocabulary for other girls except me, Claire, and his mom!
I climbed into his truck, pulling out my phone. He sighed, leaning against his seat. I glanced over at him and he had a slight glazed over expression, as if he was in dreamland. I rolled my eyes, turning up the radio.
"No way!" He exclaimed, the song snapping him from his daze. I grinned, noticing the song as well.
Good morning. Your leaving. I'll see you in the evening. My best friend till the end. My better half no pretend. Our language is sacred. No people try to solve. New adventures on the way.
Seamless by Sabrina Carpenter. The song we have played since we were 10, because it pretty much described us.
You and me together. Take on the world forever. I know all your secrets. And I promise you I'm gonna keep them. I'll be there when you are feeling clueless. You and me, oh yeah we're seamless. Woah oh, yeah, woah oh.
He began to leave the parking lot, as I checked my phone. No one texted me. Usual.
You're right by my side whenever I need you. Through the hardest times. I'll be there for you. At the crack of dawn when the moon is gone. I won't be hard to find. 'Cause you and me, oh yeah we're seamless.
This song always forced memories to come flooding back to me. Good and bad.

"Peanut!!" I screeched after my dog that was running down the street. I chased after her, and she thought it was a game. She began to cross the street, and I was about o go after her, when I heard Marcus yell my name. I bolted in my steps, to see his relieved face then I heard a loud whine from my dog. I turned around to see my puppy on the ground in the middle of the street with blood covering her. A car had hit her, but just kept going. I froze, before screaming out in pain.
