Raelynn is your typical nerd. Straight A's and an art student. And to add to it, thick rimmed glasses and braces.
Marcus is Raelynn's Best Friend. But the catch is, he is the school's most popular boy. He's known for his amount of girlfriends and b...
I sigh, looking over my outfit and makeup in the bathroom mirror. Today, I had chosen a high waisted, denim skirt with a cute red and black plaid shirt tucked in. With it, I had on my black converse. I grinned, leaving, heading to my locker. I was already running late, and I didn't have time to mess around.
I got my history book out, holding it tight against my chest, slamming my locker and walking to art. I kept my head down, to avoid everyone. I had one goal, and that goal was to get to class. I arrived to the art hallway, finally releasing the breath I was holding, and entered my class. I looked around, and noticed, Luke was already here.
"Good morning Mr. Arce." I said politely, sitting in my seat.
"Good morning Rae." He smirked at me. I looked at him confused for a second, before looking to the person beside me. Luke.
"What took you so long, princess?" He asked, smirking at me. I sighed, pulling out my sketchbook.
"I had to fix my make up." I bluntly said, opening to a fresh page. I began to sketch, drifting into my own world.
"Okay class!" Mr. Arce announced, pulling me from my Day dream. I closed my sketch book, looking around. Naomi was in Luke's seat, and Luke was still occupying Naomi's seat. I rolled my eyes, focusing my attention up front.
"Today, you will be starting a new project. The theme is Unity. I challenge all of you, to show me, what that one, simple word means to you. Good luck." He said, grinning at us. I sighed, opening up my sketchbook, knowing what I was doing. I picked up my pencil, and started a draft.
"Rae." I heard Mr. Arce say. I turned in my seat, and saw him, holding a pass out to me. "Can you go get my paints from coach?" He asked me, as I stood, taking the pass.
"Yes sir." I said, leaving class. I walked down to the athletic hallway, where I saw Coach Simpson walking to the gym. She was at least in her mid 50s, considering my mom had her as a cheer coach.
"Um, Coach Simpson." I called out, getting her attention. She faced me, a grin overtaking her features.
"Cole! How are you?" She grinned at me, placing her hands on her hips. Her platinum blonde hair was pulled into a tight ponytail, and she was wearing a light blue track suit.
And yes. She called me by my moms madden name. Because apparently I looked just like my mom, just with darker hair and glasses.
"I'm okay. Um, Mr. Arce sent me to get his paints from you?" I said in a question sort of way. She chuckled, nodding.
"Right. They're in my office. Now, I have to go. Have a good day Cole!" She waved, waking into the gym. I waved back, heading into her office. I quickly grabbed the box of paints, about to leave when I noticed a picture of a cheer squad. I stopped, and examined the picture.
'Westpoint Ranger Cheer, 2016-2017' it read. I looked at all of the girls, and found my mom wearing her black and white cheer uniform with her hair in a high ponytail. Beside her, was Baley, wearing the exact same thing.
I grinned, leaving her office, and going back to class.
"Here you are sir." I said, placing the paints on the back counter.
"Thank you Rae." He grinned, as I sat down. I opened my sketchbook, and saw a small sketch on the inside.
