Chapter 15: Getting Them Together

Sonic's Pov

I woke up to only see Shadow, Mephiles, Silver, Scourge, and Fleetway asleep. I looked at Shadow and smiled. I stroked his quills while closing my eyes. I heard movement and I opened my eyes to see Shadow waking up. He opened his eyes and looked up to see me. "S-Sonic?" Shadow said with tears coming out. "Hey" I said while smiling at him. "You're okay!" Shadow yelled which made Mephiles, Silver, Scourge, and Fleetway wake up. "Shadow, what the heck!? You scared us" Fleetway said. Shadow hugged me tightly. Everyone looked at us and then they all ran towards us. "Sonic!" they all yelled with happiness. "I'm so glad you're okay" Silver said. "Good to see you're awake" Fleetway said. "Good to have you back blue" Scourge said. "Nice to see you're doing alright" Mephiles said. I smiled and hugged Shadow tight. "Please don't scare me like that again" Shadow said. "I'm sorry Shadow, I had to save you. I love you" I said as I let go of the hug. Shadow looked at me and smiled. "I love you too but I don't want to lose you so don't do that" Shadow said. "No promises" I said as I chuckled. Everyone chuckled at my last statement. "I'm just glad you're okay and awake" Shadow said. "Where's the rest of the others?" I asked. "They went to get us food" Fleetway said. "Oh okay" I said. We heard the door open to see Knuckles, Rouge, and Tails come in. "Sonic!" they all yelled and ran to me. Tails basically pushed Shadow out of the way. "Hey!" Shadow said. "You're awake!" Tails said while jumping on me and hugging me. I chuckled and hugged him back. "Good to see you too buddy" I said. We let go and Rouge came over and hugged me. "Good to see you're okay hun" Rouge said. Then Knuckles came and gave me a playful punch on the arm. "Glad to see you" Knuckles said. I smiled, "thanks" I said. "You must be hungry, we brought everyone food" Rouge said. "I'm starving" I said and my stomach growled. Everyone laughed. We started to eat and talk.

Time Skip

We finished eating and I was talking with Scourge and Silver. "So are you doing okay Sonic?" Silver asked me. "Yeah, I'm glad I'm still alive" I said. "Well, it wouldn't be the same without you blue" Scourge said while looking at Fleetway. I turned to look at Silver and he was looking at Mephiles. "Why don't you guys talk to them?" I asked. They both turned to look at me and started to blush a bright red. "Well, uh, you see, um" Silver said nervously. "What's your excuse?" I said looking at Scourge. "I, uh" Scourge said. "I see.... you two are shy!" I half yelled and half whispered. They both looked at me blushing a dark red. "Sonic!" Silver and Scourge half yelled and half whispered at the same time. I chuckled, "don't worry, they didn't hear" I said. "You're lucky they didn't hear otherwise, I'll punch you" Scourge said. I chuckled nervously, "right, got that" I said. I wanted Silver and Scourge to talk to them but they're shy.

Shadow's POV

I was talking with Fleetway and Mephiles. "So will you guys help me?" I asked. "Of course" Fleetway said. "I'm in" Mephiles said. "Great, now all we have to do is keep this a secret from Sonic" I said. They nodded in agreement. "Tails, Knuckles, and Rouge are getting the stuff ready at the house, so there should be plenty of time to get everything ready" I said. "This is going to be great" Fleetway said. I looked to see Silver and Scourge looking at Mephiles and Fleetway. "So when are you two going to make the move?" I asked. They both looked at me confused. "What do you mean?" Mephiles asked. "Come on, I know you two want to be with your lovers" I said in a teasing way. They both blushed a bright pink. "Well, uh" Fleetway said. "I, um" Mephiles said. "Don't worry, I'll help you guys with this" I said. "Really?" they both said at the same time. "Yes, now here's what we're going to do" I said and started whispering to them on what they can do. "Do you think it will work?" Fleetway asked. "Yeah, I'm sure they'll feel the same" I said. "Thanks Shadow" Fleetway said. "Yeah thanks" Mephiles said. "Anytime, now if you'd excuse me, I'm going to spend time with my lover" I said as I smirked. They chuckled and went out to go do what I told them to do. I walked towards Sonic and sat beside him. "Hey love" I said while putting my arm around his waist. "Hey Shadow" Sonic said. "We'll give you two some alone time" Silver said while getting up. "Yeah, have fun blue" Scourge said. They left and it was just me and Sonic. I kissed him on the lips and he kissed back. Oh I forgot how soft and gentle his lips were. I break the kiss and looked at him in his emerald green eyes. "I love you so much Sonic" I said. Sonic smiled, "I love you too Shadow" Sonic said. I hugged him and we stayed like that for a while. "Shadow?" Sonic called out to me. I let go and looked at him. "Yes?" I said. "W-where's Jet?" Sonic asked with fear in his voice. "He's in prison, we called G.U.N. to take him away. He won't hurt you anymore" I said as I put my hand on his cheek. Sonic put his hand on top of my hand and closed his eyes. "Thank you for saving me Shadow" Sonic said as he opened his eyes and looked at me and smiled. "I should be thanking you, you saved my life" I said. Sonic smiled, "I know you would do the same" Sonic said. I smiled and held him in my arms. "I'm glad you're safe" I said. "I'm glad to be back with you" Sonic said.

Time Skip

Later on, everyone was back but Fleetway and Mephiles weren't here just yet. We were all talking until we heard the door open. Mephiles and Fleetway came in hiding something and I know exactly what it is. "What are you guys hiding?" Rouge asked. "We both have something to say to two specific hedgehogs" Fleetway said. "I'll go first" Mephiles said. I smiled and held Sonic close to me. "What's going on?" Sonic whispered to me. "You'll see" I said. "Silver, there's something I need to tell you" Mephiles said. Silver got up and walked towards Mephiles. "What is it?" Silver asked. "Well here goes nothing, Silver the Hedgehog, from the moment I met you, I fell in love with you and I can't stand to see you hurt" Mephiles said. "Mephiles?" Silver said. Mephiles pulled out a bouquet of dark green and silver roses. "Will you be my boyfriend?" Mephiles asked. "Oh Mephy, yes" Silver said and kissed him. "Aww" we all said. "Well I guess it's my turn" Fleetway said. He looked at me and I gave him a thumbs up. "Alright, Scourge the Hedgehog, I've had feelings for you since I met you, I don't want to lose you and I-I love you" Fleetway said. Scourge got up and walked towards him. "Will you do me the honor and be my boyfriend?" Fleetway asked and pulled out a bouquet of yellow and green roses. "Oh Fleetway" Scourge said. Scourge pulled Fleetway and kissed him. "Awww" we all said. "I knew you guys could do it" I said. "See, I told you guys they will feel the same" Sonic said. They blushed a dark red and we all chuckled.
