Austin's POV:

"So what's the story on her," I asked Tyler once the girl, Pearce, had left with Chris. I couldn't tell if she was just a friend of everyone's or if she was involved with any of them.

Tyler looked up from his fries with a confused face. "You mean Pearce," he asked through a mouthful of food. I nodded while he swallowed and laughed. "Don't go there, man."

"Why?" She seemed nice, I wanted to at least get to know her a little better. What could the harm be in that?

He just shook his head. "Word is, that 3 years ago, maybe a little more, a guy crushed her. Completely broke her heart and ruined her. They'd been dating for years apparently and he kept cheating on her."

"Man, I've been there," I sighed thinking of Rory. "Wait hang on, three years ago? And he was a huge cheater?"

Tyler nodded slowly, "Yeah, that's what I heard at least."

"I think I know her," I muttered, my eyes widening. I knew she looked familiar, she looked just like Rory, almost. There were a few things that were different but she was just as stunning as ever. "I'm the guy."

"Dude, what are you talking about?"

I sighed, "3 years ago I had a girlfriend, she was amazing, she took my sorry ass back so many times after cheating on her and lying to her. One night she'd found out I did it again. She snapped. She just broke down and finally left to live with Jaxin, my ex band mate."

"So you're saying Pearce is your ex girlfriend and you didn't even realize until now," Tyler asked, almost assuming that I was an idiot.

I nodded, "Yeah but her name is Rory, Rory Pearce. I don't know why it didn't resonate with me earlier. But it's her, I'm sure of it and I need to talk to her again. I need her to know that I'm still hopelessly in love with her. I want her back, I need her back."

"Yeah well good luck with that," Tyler scoffs as he roles his eyes.

I furrow my eyebrows and cock my head to the side. "Why?"

"Did you notice how she immediately got up and ran off with Chris when he called her," Skye asked, turning around from the other table that he was sat at. "Sorry, I was eavesdropping," he muttered in response to Tyler's glare.

I nodded, "Yeah but if she's traveling with them, she doesn't have a choice."

"Chis is her ex," Tyler muttered.

Skye nodded, "They dated for a whole year."

"Wh-what happened," I asked. I was begging that they didn't get married or have a kid in my head. I could never come between a family even if it was Rory.

Tyler sighed, "No one knows. One day she was gone and he was heartbroken. That was the happiest I've ever seen him and she just left."

"Yeah, it was rough for both of them though," Skye chimes in. "Don't just put the blame on her, Tyler."

I drew my eyebrows together in confusion. "Why would it be all her fault?"

"It wasn't," Skye snapped back.

Tyler let out a deep sigh and shook his head. "She wasn't happy. We knew her during their relationship and she became our tour manager after but I knew Chris before her. It's easier for me to blame her than it is for me to blame him."

"Why wasn't she happy?"

Tyler shrugged and Skye bit his lip. "I don't know if we should be talking to you about this, man. You're the guy. You're not just a stranger that's interested in her but you're the guy that cheated on her."
