Chris' POV: Tour Day One

It's been a week since my blow up at Megan and a week since I've seen or heard from Pea- Rory. The other guys got invited places with her. Ghost has seen her every day for the past week. He went to lunch with her, he went to Disneyland with her, when it should have been me. I shouldn't have let Megan seduce me and convince me that our relationship could work again. I should have trusted Rory more and actually gone to see her. But I didn't and now I've screwed up. On top of that, her stupid boyfriend's band is touring with us meaning I get to see the woman I love fawn over the guy she loves. It sucks.

"Alright boys, here's to an awesome tour," she cheered as she got on the bus. She passed around a Starbucks carrier that held a cup with each of our names on it. I took a sip of mine and melted at the taste of pumpkin spice. "I knew you'd like that," she teased, winking at me in the process. I held it up as a salute and fell back into the sofa. "So, are you guys excited?"

Everyone cheered and enthused over the tour and album for another five minutes before we all fell back into our normal travel routine of video games, coffee and food. I studied her, completely in a trance by the way she did everything. Her hair had changed within the week, it was now freshly dyed black with red tips, extensions I would presume. She had her bangs down for once which made me smile, I loved her even more when she had bangs. And her normal retro black sunglasses sat on top of her head, she was so perfect.

"Chris," she snapped.

"Huh," I freaked, my eyes wide and my cheeks flushed considering I was probably drooling over her attire. She was wearing a blood red corset with black lace trip and fucking latex leggings, she knows how much I love latex on her.

She laughed and moved to sit next to me. "I was just asking if you were okay or if you needed anything. But I can see now that you were totally zoned out."

"Sorry," I laughed nervously. "But uh, nope, I'm good. Good good good," my voice trailed. "Uh what about you? Can I get you anything?"

She shook her head and smiled. "I'm gonna go watch movies in the back... if you want, you could come," she suggested nervously.

I nodded with a smile. Score: 1 for Chris and 0 for Austin. I followed her to the back lounge and we pulled out the couch so that it was more of a bed. She kicked her heels off and put on Bride of Chucky. I laughed at her choice and she stuck her tongue out. This was perfect, this was how it should be. She settled on the couch and let me drape my arm around her shoulder. I was surprised but I didn't say anything that could ruin the moment.

About half way through the movie I looked down at her and found her looking right back into my eyes. She blushed and quickly looked away. Without thinking I lifted her chin so that she was looking at me again and I pecked her lips slightly. She didn't resist... at first.

Suddenly she was pushing me away lightly, like she didn't want to hurt me but she still needed me off of her. "I-I'm so sorry, Rory," I stuttered. "It was just habit."

She touched her lips gently and guilt suddenly settled on her features. "I-it wasn't your fault. I l-let you kiss m-me," she replied nervously. "It's my f-fault too."

"Rory please don't move away from me," I begged. "I promise it won't happen again."

She shook her head and remained where she was. I settled into the other side of the couch and continued to look at her now saddened face. It hurt. She use to love kissing me, she would yearn for my lips against her as would I. There was no better feeling than her soft, delicate lips against mine or anywhere else on my body.

"I should call Aus-Austin," she stammered before getting up and walking away from me. I saw her crawl into her bunk and draw the curtain shut.

"Hi baby," she sighed, breaking my heart even more, more than she'll ever know.
