"Thank God," I heard Ricky mutter.

I sighed and opened my eyes and started to stretch when I felt someone right next to me. I propped myself up and looked at the still sleeping Chris. I smiled at the fact he was still there, not that I expected him to leave me alone after breaking down.

"Ricky," I whispered loudly.

I heared footsteps come back and the curtain to the bunk opened revealing a very impatient looking Ricky. "Yes," he huffed.

"What's going on," I asked, ignoring his tone.

He raised an eyebrow and looks from me to Chris and back to me. "I could ask you the same thing. I swear to God, Pearce, I love you, you're an awesome friend and were a kick ass manager but he's my best friend, almost my brother and I don't want him getting hurt again." He crossed his arms over his chest and then paused for a minute before putting them back down and softening his gaze. "Sorry. We've just reached Vegas and I'm going out for a smoke."

"Okay thanks for letting me know," I replied kindly. "And Ricky," I called quietly as he started to leave. He stopped and turned back at to face me. "I would never dream of hurting Chris again."

He nodded and walked off, probably to go smoke like he said. I laid back down and cuddled against Chris' side and put my head back on his chest. His heartbeat was a little faster than it was when I fell asleep.

"You're sweet," I heard his tired voice mumble as he pulled me closer to him.

I chuckled and leaned up to kiss his cheek gently. "I mean it. I will never hurt you like I did before, Chris."

"I believe you Pea-Rory," he replied and chuckled lightly. "That's going to take some getting use to."

I smiled and nodded. "You can still call me Pearce if it's easier."

"I like the name Rory, though. It's cute," he whispered.

Footsteps approached the bunk and the curtain is ripped open. "I TOLD YOU GUYS," Balz screamed, making Chris and I flinch. "Sorry," he whispered with a giant smile. "It's just that I told them you guys would be back together within the first night."

"We're not back together, Balz," Chris muttered as he got up. "Come on, we've got to unload," he hissed as he pulled on a pair of jeans and a ripped up shirt.

I nodded and got up to change and do my make up. I quickly threw a different shirt on and put my hair into a messy bun. I pulled some shorts on and took a moment to look at myself in the full length mirror. I sighed, I was skinny but I was never as skinny as the girls that Austin cheated with.

"Stop," a voice commanded before coming into view. I knew it was Chris and I immediately stopped looking at myself in the mirror. "You look gorgeous and honestly the more you look at yourself in the mirror, the more you'll be unhappy with your body and I think it rocks so just stop. Please."

I nodded and walked into the bathroom to put on some powder and mascara before tying a bandana to hold my bun in place. I walked out and slipped on three of my favorite rings, all of which came from Chris, and my watch. I put my skull earrings in and pulled on my dog tags that had a punk sugar skull engraved on it.

I checked my phone and see a few messages from Tony.

Turtle Boy: I meant it Rory. I really did.

Turtle Boy: Look, I get it, you only see me as a friend but I can't help my feelings.

Turtle Boy: Have a goodnight and I guess I'll see you in Pomona in 2 days.
