*End of Warped*
"I'm gonna miss you," I mumbled as I nuzzled into Chris' neck.
For the past few nights all we'd done was have sex; fantastic, life ruining sex. And now he has to go back to Scranton and I have to go back to San Diego. Even Ghost was staying to spend time with the band before the release of their new record which means Kylie would be joining him.
"You could come too," Chris whispered. "I mean, everyone will be there and then you can come back on tour with us."
I sighed and propped myself up on my elbows, gazing at him. "Chris," I started. "We've talked about this, hon. I can't come with you."
"Why not," he pouted. "We've been doing so well these past couple of months, why stop?"
I pecked his cheek lightly and smiled. "Because I have to work. I didn't say we were breaking up, I'm just saying we live two separate lives when we're not on tour."
"But we could have one life, Pearce," he muttered. "You could live with me and work from home. You could be our full time TM."
"Chris, I probably will be your full time TM," I replied sarcastically. "But the Fearless headquarters are in California."
He pulled me back into him and kissed the top of my head. "What if I smother you with kisses and bribe you with sex?"
"That's tempting but even kisses and sex can't get me to leave home," I chuckled.
"OH COME ON PEARCE," Ricky, Balz and Ryan all yelled from the front lounge at the same time. "IT'LL BE FUNNNNN!"
I laughed and got up to put one of Chris' shirts on before walking out. I let it drape over my body and I decided to grab a pair of shorts to have underneath it. I turned back around and saw Chris gazing at me, a smile spread across his face.
"What," I asked.
He laughed and jumped up from the bunk to wrap his arms around me. "Nothing. It's just, I could get use to wearing my shirts, waking up next to you and arguing with the guys."
"Chris," I whined. "I wish I could, baby."
He sighed and let go of me, walking to the front of the bus. I frowned and followed behind him grabbing the first cup of coffee that I laid my eyes on.
"Yeah, that totally wasn't mine," Ricky complained.
I stuck my tongue out and took a sip of it, my eyes on Ricky the whole time. "God, that's good," I mumbled after setting down.
"You're cruel."
"You don't even know," Chris chimed in.
I shot him a look, begging him not to go into any more detail. "So you're still not coming to Scranton," Ghost asked.
"I just can't," I replied sadly. "I would love to guys, believe me, I would. But my job's in-"
"San Diego, yeah we get it," Chris snapped. "You know, your job isn't everything Pearce."
I looked at him in shock, completely floored by what he just said. "Are you kidding me, Chris? Do you know how hard I've worked to get to Fearless? You don't just get to ask me to stop doing what I love. I would never ask you to give up touring just to spend time at me," I snapped back.
"That's because you tour with us!"
"Yeah well I can put an end to that," I hissed back at him. "Trust me Chris, I can get off this bus, get on a plane back to SD and have someone else come babysit you!"
