Chapter 25

        I was just chilling on the couch when I sensed a large amount of energy near by and teleport to the source to end up next to Dick, Beast Boy and Robin. "Stand ready," Nightwing commands and I take out my katana.
        "Ta-da!" smiles a boy jumping out of the device, he was dressed oddly like Wally. He was clearly younger, what concerned me the most was the fact that he's in our base. "Computer lock down cave," demands Nightwing not taking his eyes of the boy that came out of thin air.
        "I think we have found our unknown energy impulse," says Beast Boy as I get ready to attack him.
        "Impulse that's so crash! Catchy, dramatic, one word. Nightwing and Robin and Beast Boy, except that's two words and the lovely Scarlet Phoenix. Wait, Blue Beetle's two words is her here two? Guess Impulse can find that out for himself," he spoke so fast and was gone, defiantly related to Wally. "You three take him down," demands Dick and I roll my eyes, there is no way to catch him, especially if he can phase through walls. I just wait until he does a full circle and Dick throws some balls down and that's when I whack him in the head. "I surrender to you lady angel," he groans as Dick handcuffs him.
        "Now that was crash," says Dick as I yawn.
        "For you maybe, but for me I'm totally feeling the mode," he groans and I look at Dick questionably, what on Earth was with his language? After explaining his crazy story I'm starting to believe we have a crazy on our hands. "Let me get this straight, you're a tourist from the future?" I groan rubbing my temple. "Look look guys and pretty lady we should all be friends. I'm one of you, part of the heroic legacy, my name is Bart Allen, Grandson of Berry Allen, the Flash," he says and I roll my eyes, I feel very sarcastic today for some reason.
        "Noted, no believed, but noted," smiles Beast Boy crossing his arms.
        "What's not to believe? I clearly got Flash's speed, his amazing good looks, frankly I can't wait to meet him, you back when he was in his prime," he explains and I widen my eyes slightly, he talks a bit like Wally, he defiantly has his cockiness. "Wow Bart, you came all the way from the future you must have worked up quite the thirst," speaks Dick causally bringing a glass of water over.
        "Thanks, oh your trying to get a DNA sample, you need my spit," he laughs spitting in the glass, "ha that is such a Dick Greyson thing to do," he says and I pull out my sword. "Whoa calm down there Kate. See I know things only a future boy would know," he smiles and I glare at him. "Dick Greyson, Tim Drake, Garfield Logan and the wonderful Kate Fang," he states and now I really want to chop his head off.
        "You're name is Tim and yours is Dick?" asks Beast Boy and I just stay there frozen, the newer members still don't know I'm a Fang.
        "Oops spoilers! The secret identity thing is so retro, you can call me Impulse, Bart or Bart Allen or Impulse Allen, it's all crash," he lists and I seriously want to kill him. "Is it possible that he might actually be telling the truth?" I hiss, "Could he really be from the future?"
        "Tell us something we don't know yet! When do I become leader of the team? When do I join the Justice League? When do I get my own reality series?" demands Beast Boy pointing a finger at him.
        "Sorry BB I was never the best history student and besides we can't risk altering the time stream," he starts looking at me, "Then we're all feeling the mode."
        "And the mode would be bad?" questions BB. (I'm to lazy to type Beast boy every time lol.)
        "Always better to crash the mode," he states.
        "Uh...noted?" says BB and I'm confused as well. A door opens as someone comes back and he was gone. "Don't worry the Peregrine Falcon is the fastest bird he won't get away," says BB with determination and I hold my laughter.
        "He doesn't stand a chance does he?" asks Tim as I nod.
        "Nope, Impulse is too fast. But at least we can track him," grins Dick and the realization of the water hits me.
        "Well I'm going to go chill now because there is nothing we can do," I yawn heading for the couch. They all came to the cave a few hours later for a DNA test, "Well his DNA matches up with yours and Iris's and this thing is giving off both Zeta and Cr-ionic radiation," explains Dick as I stand ready to kill Impulse at anytime from the shadows. "Which in theory is what should be radiating off a time machine," says Wally, who I'm happy to finally see again. "Which means you are who you say you are," smiles Flash and I tsk in annoyance and they all turn to me.
        "Hey its been awhile," laughs Wally as I punch him, sending him into the wall.
        "Dude five years!" I yell pissed, "You could at least dropped by so I know your alive!" I scream and they all sweat drop with the same word going through their mind, SCARY!!! "I'm sorry," he smiles nervously.
        "Well it has been crash, but the future awaits me. I gotta run hahahahhah," he laughs and I want to kill him even more now. "See what I did there?" he laughs even more and I just tsk. They have there little goodbye moment and he was ready to go when the stupid machine wouldn't take him back to his time. Something about him gave me the chills, like when he said he didn't know how to fix the machine. Something told me this guy was lying but I let it slide for now.
