Harry had no idea what went on with you and Abby the night before, but he knew that he had to get to the bottom of it. He had a text to Abby asking her to breakfast the next morning without Jackson.  . Harry was a bit nervous as he sits in the restaurant of the hotel, thinking this might have been a better idea to have in his hotel room, but maybe with it being it public it won't get that bad.
"What's this about Harry?" She says as soon as she reaches the table.
"Just sit down, please. We have some things to talk about."
Abby rolls her eyes before sitting down. You all order some breakfast before Harry looks at the two of you.
"Now, I know something happened between you and Y/n last night and that made me realize that I can't keep up doing this." He says. "Abby you're always going to be in my life, you're the mother of my son and one of my best friends before all of this happened. I don't want to fight with you like this. I want us to have the good relationship that we had before all of this. However, I also really like Y/N and I want her in my life too. She's a great person and a great mother. And the fact of the matter is whether Y/N is going to be in my life for a long time or not, someone else is, eventually and I have to know that you'll be okay with it Abby. Just like when that day comes and you have someone in your life." He says.
Abby sighs. "What do you want me to say Harry?"
"I want you to say that you're going to try and accept this. I'm not saying you and Y/N have to be best friends and spend time together, but I just want you to be okay with it." He whispers.
"And what about her? You're acting like all of this is my fault." She says. "And you're making me feel like I shouldn't be feeling this way."
"I'm going to talk to her as well, later today and I'm really sorry if I'm making you feel like that, but you're also not taking in considerations of my feelings either." He points.
Abby sighs looking down. "What is it about her that has you all like this?" She whispers. "What is it about her that you chose her over me?"
"I honestly don't know what it is about her. There's just something that I'm falling for. I love being around her and just spending time with her. And I'm sorry that you see that this is me choosing you over her, but Abby, I never had feelings for you. I feel bad about what happened between us because honestly I didn't even think that you could have feelings for me." He whispers.
"You don't get it, Harry." She sighs. "It's not that I have feelings for you. Okay, maybe I do a little bit, but do you really think that this is something that I wanted in my life? Do have a kid with someone that I'm not even with or ever was with? Do you think that when I dreamed of becoming a Mom it was like this? Where I would get him every few days before having to take him to his Dad's? Or that when I do find that person I want to spend my life with and have more kids that I'm going to have more than one father of my kids?" She sniffles.
"I wanted you to just give us a shot to see if we could be a couple because that is what I've always wanted. To have a baby with someone who I love and loves me back. Someone that would be there by my side through everything." She whispers. "And maybe the reason I'm acting like this right now is because I'm jealous, okay. Because all she had to do was waltz into your life and she's already meaning something to you and to Jackson. I mean, you get her, her daughter, and Jackson. What do I get?"
"You talk like you're going to lose me, Abby." He sighs taking her hand. "But you're not, not unless you push me away. I know how you feel about wanting to be with the father of your kid because I wanted that too, but Abby, I don't want to just be with you because we have a kid together. It's not fair to you, me or even Jackson."
"I know that." She whispers. "And you're right, it's just.. hard and you trying to just push her into my life doesn't help. It makes me feel like I don't matter."
"I-I'm sorry. I didn't think of it like that." he whispers. "Abby, you do matter to me. You matter a lot to me."
"Well, that's good to know." She smiles a bit.
"But you also have to know that Y/N matters too. I don't want it to be like you vs. her type thing anymore." He says.
She sighs looking away for a bit. "I can't promise you that I'm just going to be 100% okay with this right away, but I will promise to work on it." She says.
"Thank you." He whispers. "That's all I'm asking for."
"Now, can I ask you for something?" She asks.
"Course." He says.
"Can you not try and rub you two being together in my face?" She whispers.
"I would never intentionally do that." He says. "But I promise to make sure we keep it presentable when you're around."
"Thank you." She nods.
Harry smiles at her a bit before they continue on with their breakfast. After they finish eating, Harry pays and they both walk back up to the rooms. Harry hugs her before she walks into her room. Harry then goes to your door and knocks.
You're just getting out of the shower when you hear a knock on your door. You didn't know who it was, so you quickly grabbed your towel wrapping it around you. You pass by Ella, who is playing with her toys in her Pack N Play before answering the door to see Harry standing there.
His eyes widen a bit and he can't help but lower his eyes as he looks you up and down.
"Uh. Morning." You say awkwardly.
"Oh.. yeah. Morning." Harry says looking back up at you. "Can we uh talk for a bit?"
"Yeah. Sure, come on in." You say opening the door.
He walks in and you shut the door. "I'm just going to get dressed really quick." You say before grabbing some clothes and going back into the bathroom.
Harry nods walking over to Ella. She smiles standing up and bouncing up and down.
"Hawwy!" She giggles.
"Morning, love." He smiles picking her up. "You have massive bed head." He jokes pushing her hair down a bit.
She smiles laying her head on his shoulder. He smiles rocking her back and forth. You walk out of the bathroom.
"So, what did you want to talk about?" You ask.
"Abby and I had breakfast together this morning." He starts off.
"Oh, uh, how did that go?" You ask.
"Fairly well." He says sitting down on the bed. "We talked about things that we should have talked about a while ago."
"Well, that's good that you talked." you say sitting next to him. "Are things okay now between the two of you?"
"Mostly. She told me how she felt about this whole situation and it was much bigger than just have feelings for me." He says. "I don't want to get in too much detail with it because it's not something I feel like I should share, but what came from our talk this morning is that she's going to try being okay with you being in my life." He says.
"Oh, wow." you say. "I know that has to be hard for her."
"It is, but what I wanted to talk to you about is, I want to make sure that you're going to be okay with her also being in my life. I don't want there to ever be in issue like I saw last night. I don't want to feel like I ever have to choose you over her or vice versa. I also, don't want to rub what we are in her face, something that she doesn't want either." He says.
"I understand." You say nodding. "I don't want there to be anything wrong between us, Harry, I don't. I also, don't want you to ever feel like you have to choose." You whisper. "I could never ask you to do that."
"I know and that's one of the reasons I'm falling for you." He smiles.
A red blush forms on your cheeks. "Really?" you smile.
"Yes." He smiles leaning into kiss you. You smile kissing him back. Ella whines and hits both of your cheeks with her hands.
"No. No." She says shaking her head.
"What?" You giggle to her.
"No. No. Kissy!" She giggles jumping into your lap.
"Why not?" You pout.
"Cwause No. No." She giggles.
"Okay." You pout to her.
She giggles kissing your pout. You smile at her, wrapping your arms around her. "All betta" She claps.
"All better." You smile kissing her head.
Harry smiles. "So, now that we can technically be together out in the open and what not, you know what this means now right?" He asks.
"And what's that?" You smile.
"It means we can finally go out on a proper date and since Valentine's Day is coming up, I say that is the perfect day." He smirks.
"Is this your way of asking me out on a date?" you smirk.
"Why yes, it is." He smirks.
"Well, then looks like I'll be getting a babysitter soon." You smile.
"And it looks like I have some planning to do." He smirks to you.
You smile widely to him. Harry stays for about an hour before going to pick up Jackson.
He was going to plan something special for you and he was going to get Jackson to help.
