Random Short Story

So, I got this idea for a short story, and it's actually pretty simple--by my standards at least-- since it didn't require too much though behind it. I was going to post it here because I thought it would be something that you all would enjoy.

BUT! (Don't worry; you're still getting a story!) When I started writing it, I realized that it might be a bit long to put in a single chapter, and that it might be better to format it as a regular story on Wattpad. In other words, you'll be receiving shorter, normal chapters as I update the little story rather than having to deal with scrolling...and scrolling...and scrolling...just to read the thing. I thought it would be better this way.

So, yay for you guys! I'm announcing the story here today, because it will also update every Friday, just like this book does. That way, you don't have to worry about keeping track of different update schedules. However, to avoid confusion, I won't be posting any extra literature here while the short story is being updated. After all, the whole thing is kind of like one huge post, just formatted differently.

I guess this also means that even when I try to write something short, it turns out longer than I expected, huh? It still has a good amount of content, though, enough to where it can still be appropriately categorized as a "short story".

It'll be a bit different from the things I write in the future, since it's more of a "realistic fiction" type story when you compare it to my very obvious "fantasy" plans (i.e. Pandora's Box). And the plot's probably not going to end up being as meta or complex as all of my other ideas, but hey, I did say it's supposed to be a short story.

The title is "A Dog Lover's Dream, A Cat Lover's Hell". I'll publish the first chapter right after this update comes out, so you won't have to wait to read it. I hope you like it!
