Hello, everyone! Today's poem comes from when I saw a bug near my food the other day (how rude of it; I was eating that food) and the words popped into my head. I changed the topic to spiders instead of just flies or gnats as the poem went along. Have a look:
Accursed fruit flies
Always telling lies
Such is the life of a spider
The flies are too small
Never catch them all
And you're the one they call a liar
Spinning their webs
Worshipping the dead
Scavenging these is their game
Though they must eat
Their home is not sweet
Humans will hate them forever
I think it turned out interesting! I know not everyone hates spiders, but I'm a little more on Ron Weasley's side of the fence in that I prefer they stay outdoors where they belong. I think it fits the spooky atmosphere, don't you?
This has been another chapter in An Author's Adventure. Stay tuned for next week (and the continuation of Crush Vision)!
