34. Crush Vision: Q & A

Hello, everyone! It's time for the Crush Vision Q & A!

Q: Why were they both so shy about revealing each other's crushes?
A: They already had a strong best-friends (and circle of mutual friends) dynamic that would've changed if their crushes were one-sided. Also, Henry's an introverted little cinnamon roll and wanted to figure out his emotions. Ah, overthinking. Don'tcha just love it?

2) Q: What is your favorite thing about the characters?
    A: For Emmy, it's definitely her kindness. It's one of the reasons Henry fell in love with her, too. And I love Henry's relatable awkwardness. I couldn't help writing out funny self-conscious thoughts he'd have, and it was easy to get carried away. I always imagine Hannah being fun and bubbly—not too hyper, but still having a sunny disposition and energy. Jacob and Troy are both good for a laugh (and pun battles, haha), and sometimes I relate do Delaney's eye-rolls at their antics and low-key perfectionism on a spiritual level.

3) Q: Will there be a sequel?
     A: Maybe—I have some ideas in the works, but really it depends on what you, the readers, want. If you want to see more of Emmy and Henry, be sure to let me know, and I'll go for it! But if not, that's fine too—there's no shortage of stories floating around in my brain!
