Ok guys, I have a confession to make: I drew this picture because I was practicing a sort of kneeling pose on the fly and it turned into THIS (which I think ended up really cool) and NOW I'm writing this random poem-thing on the spur of the moment 'cause I got all inspired and stuff so here you go:
O, bleeding heart,
My darling dear,
My muse and song,
Why must you fall silent and hide your face?
O, my sweet love,
Tell, do you know,
I adore you so?
Please come back into the light--!
How, can't you see
Your radiant warmth
From your heart--
Outpouring as a golden stream of sun?
Drowning away
The dying day
Your tears flow
Though you aren't mourning...
You try to be strong
For far too long
And expect me to ignore
The times you've broken before...
What if you knew
All the nights I've thought of you
Wond'ring, are you an angel
Sent from heaven above...?
Let it be healed
Lest you retreat away
From my tender embrace
Yet even still you shiver, cold
Wait for release

Until you are safe

WELL, that happened. I just wrote that. Just now. As I'm typing this.
Now, don't freak out. This is NOT an instance of "oh no, the author has drawn/written really sad things; author, are you ok?!"...it's more of a "hey I'm in the mood for some doodling oh that turned out pretty cool it kinda reminds me of--OH NO THE IDEAS, THE INSPIRATION, THEY'RE SNOWBALLING AND AAAAHHH WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!" situation.
Literally, this just randomly flew into my head out of nowhere. Aw man, it's making me think of all the future stories I wanna write! AAAAHHH!
So, as far as me-posting-stuff goes, what do you guys think? I think I like it...I mean, I DID just write it. It's still got that new, uncertain feeling to it, but...oh well! I'm still happy to share it with you. (Though, since I have so many chapters planned in advance, the time of writing occurs way before the time I actually post it, but...I suppose that can't be helped. And I imagine it has the same effect, regardless.)
If you have any questions or thoughts, I'd love to hear them! Who knows, maybe this spur-of-the-moment thing will turn out to be super awesome!
