My poems, the sad reality of my life

And away ,she walks

Tears fill up in her eyes,

How I hate It when she cries,

Those beautiful orbs, Glistening green,

Why are people so mean?

She's always been there for me,

Oh how it pains me to see,

Such a pretty face, washed over with sadness,

Who would hurt her? what is this madness?

The girl that used to laugh, jump and play,

Has disappeared, "you couldn't save me anyway" .

The last thing she says, where those 5 words,

And away she walks.

As the tear drops fall,

She keeps her head down,

In shame, agony, but mostly pain,

How could I let this happen?

Am I the one to blame?

All I wanted ,was her happy,

Smiling and dancing again.

This can't be true!

Can it?

She can't just leave!

I need her now more than ever,

She's my rock, my companion, my best friend!

As she leaves,

Tears threaten to spill,

She won't really go,

Will she?

I feel as if my heart has been torn,

This person, who I once adored,

She's letting go,

Moving on,

A new life awaits her,

Who am I to hold her back?

This pain is unbearable,

I need her in my life!

Yet, here I am,

Saying goodbye,

Not allowing

Myself to cry.

"Goodbye, dearest of my friends,

I wish you the best of luck,

The happiest of lives

And the truest of friends.

Thank you for being there,

The time that we spent,

Has made me what I am today,

There's nothing more that I can say,

Than I love you,

I always will,

Your my best friend

Forever and always "

And away she walks,

As I say goodbye

For what may be,

The last time.
