It's dinner time and I'm sitting next to Spring and his friends. I've been working with Spring all day and I'm getting tired. Suddenly one of the doors swings open and hits the wall with a loud bang. I turn towards the noise quickly. Its one of the guards he marches over to me and grabs my arm tightly.
"The warden would like to speak with you girl!" he exclaims dragging me away from Spring and the others.
His nails dig into my arm hurting me. He pushes me through a wooden door. It looks very out of place from the stone walls and floors. The guard lets go of me, nods his head and leaves. There's a large wooden desk in the center of the room and bookshelves line the walls. There are two metal chairs in front of the desk.
There are two people in the room. The first one is sitting behind the desk and the other is a little boy who's sitting on the floor playing.
"Have a seat." says the man. I do as I'm told. This man terrifies me."I'm the warden here. You may call me warden. What's your name?" he asks demandingly.
"Y-Y-Yin." I stutter. He jots something down on a piece of paper.
"How old are you?"
"N-Nine."
He doesn't ask me any more questions. He just keeps writing things down on the paper. He puts his pen down and looks up at me.
"We'll get you examined and evaluated."
He picks up a walkie-talkie and says
"Come to get her. She's all yours."
Fear travels through my body. The double doors to his office open and two nurses walk in. They each grab me by the arm and start dragging me out.
I'm paralyzed with fear. I want to kick and scream at them but I can't.
"Have a nice stay!" calls the warden smiling at me.
