(A lot of descriptions in this chapter sorry)
My stomach rumbles as Spring walks with me through the courtyard. They didn't feed us this morning. Spring doesn't seem bothered by this though.
"Where are we going?" I ask him.
"To meet some of my friends."
He leads me over to a group of people in the corner.
"Hey, guys!" Spring says.
"Hey Spring. Is this the new girl you've been telling us about?" Asks one of them.
"Yup!"
"Mind if we talk to her alone?"
"No, go ahead." Says Spring and walks away from us. Once he's out of earshot one of them says
"Let me introduce myself. My name is Mitch." He says.
Mitch has tan skin, chocolate brown eyes and brown wavy hair that covers his right eye. He's wearing a blood red hoodie, black overalls, and black worn out sneakers.
"This is Alex."
"She won't last one week here..." Alex says.
Alex has pale white skin, red eyes, and jet black messy hair. He's wearing a dark grey shirt, a black short-sleeved jacket, black shorts and black buckled boots. The thing that stands out the most to me is his black demon horns and tail.
"Oh don't listen to him, sweetheart! I'm Leah!"
Leah has long straight blond hair and blue eyes. She's wearing a white button-down shirt, blue overalls and worn out blue sneakers. She's really pretty and she's a fox. Foxes are my favorite animal other than bunnies.
"Hi! I'm Timmy! This is my sister Tammy!" A little boy exclaims. It's a pair of twins.
Timmy has short curly brown hair and brown eyes. He's wearing a white button-down shirt, a dark blue sweater that's way too big for him, tan shorts, white socks and a pair of black sneakers. Tammy also has short curly brown hair and brown eyes. But she's wearing a dark blue oversized sweater, tan shorts, white socks, a red bowtie and a pair of black sneakers. They both have brown cat ears and tails.
"I'm Yin."
"Nice to meet ya. Anyway, we've decided to let you hang with us." Says Mitch.
"The only reason we're letting you hang with us is that Spring likes ya. And Spring doesn't like anybody."
My stomach rumbles loudly.
"Oh! Are you hungry Sweetheart?" Asks Lea.
I nod my head slowly. She reaches into her pocket and hands me a roll of bread.
"Don't eat all of it. They're not going to feed us again until next Monday." She says. She reminds me of a mom in a way. My mom to be exact.
"Thank you."
