"You may go now." says the Warden dismissing me. I get up and run. I've been holding back the urge to scream and cry all day. I run into my cell and collapse in the corner. The tears finally roll down my cheeks once again. Yang appears beside me.
"WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU?!" I scream at him.
"Yin? What's wrong? What happened?" he asks.
"I was hurt!"
"Yin, you've got to understand that I can't be there for everything."
"FUCK YOU ASSHOLE! YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND! I WAS HURT! I WAS TOUCHED BY SOMEONE! I WAS FUCKING RAPED!" I scream at him.
His eyes go wide.
"Yin I-"
"Now tell me where the fuck were you!"
"I was called down into the Void. The council wanted to speak with me."
"FUCK THE COUNCIL YANG! I FUCKING NEEDED YOU! THE ONE TIME I FUCKING NEEDED YOU AND YOU WEREN'T THERE!"
"Yin, I'm sorry."
"I DON'T KNOW HOW I FUCKING DEAL WITH THIS ALL OF THE TIME!"
"Yin, please calm down."
"FIRST I WAS FUCKING KIDNAPPED, THEN GROPED BY A DOCTOR, AND THEN RAPED! EVER SINCE MY PARENTS WERE MURDERED MY LIFE HAS JUST WENT TO SHIT!" I scream tears streaming down my face now.
"Yin! Calm the fuck down!"
"NO! GO FUCK YOURSELF YANG! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!"
"FINE! YOU KNOW WHAT, I'M DONE! YOU CAN'T JUST BLAME ME FOR EVERY BAD THING THAT HAPPENS TO YOU!"
My eyes widen.
"THAT'S RIGHT! YOU CAN'T EVEN DENY IT! I'VE SEEN WHAT YOU DREAM ABOUT! YOU BLAME ME FOR EVERYTHING! YOU BLAME ME FOR THE DEATH OF YOUR PARENTS, YOU BLAME ME FOR WHAT DR.CADENCE DID TO YOU! YOU BLAME ME FOR THE RAPE! DON'T YOU EVER THINK OF ANYONE BUT YOURSELF!"
"Yang, I-I-"
"DON'T YOU EVER THINK ABOUT WHAT'S GOING IN MY LIFE. I JUST WANT TO PROTECT MY LITTLE SISTER! I TOOK THIS JOB SO THAT I COULD FUCKING PROTECT HER! I HAVE TO BE THERE FOR HER TOO BECAUSE OUR PARENTS DIDN'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT US! IF THEY HAD THEY WOULDN'T HAVE GIVEN US UP!"
I stare at him feeling guilty.
"AND THEN THERE'S THE FUCKING COUNCIL! IF THEY EVER FIND OUT WHAT I DO FOR YOU THEY'D KILL ME AND MY SISTER! SHE'S THE ONLY FUCKING FAMILY I HAVE LEFT!"
"Yang, I'm really sorry." I tell him. Tears roll down his cheeks. He slides down the wall and pulls his knees to his chest crying. I hug him.
"I'm sorry."
He stands up.
"I'm gonna go." he says and disappears.
That night I cry myself to sleep.
