I was getting really sick of Bora running away from me. When will she understand that she is mine and can't escape me? As soon as she left I rushed after her. I now realize that, for a human, it was a lot to take in. She must have been terrified and it was all because of me.

After I'd plowed my way through the cluster of people, I finally reached the corridor. It was like a graveyard. Completely silent to the point that I could hear my own heartbeat. She had to be around here somewhere and I was going to make it my mission to find her.

I found myself back to where I was a few days ago after I'd spoke to my father and thought she'd run off. I was looking in every possible space and some even impossible spaces in hopes that she would be there. No luck. It wouldn't be as bad if I was the only one looking for her, but this was the first time my pack had met her too, and who knows how they'll react to a human being there new Luna. I had to find her before anyone else. She was my only priority and I was going to ensure that she was back in my arms as quickly as possible.

The house was empty; there was no sign of her. My search had widened to the whole territory of the pack-house and I'd enlisted the help of Jin, Yoongi, Hoseok, Jimin, Tae, and Kookie. They were the only people I trusted not to hurt her and be entirely willing to help me find her. It seemed like an impossible mission but I was certain that we would find her happy and healthy - I had to. I knew that the mate bond was strong, but I never thought I could be as drawn to someone as much as I was to her. She was the light of my world and seeing her smile just melted me. I loved it.

The hunt across the territory deemed harder than I ever thought it would be. If I thought that finding her inside was hard, this would be a task only those with supernatural powers could handle. Fortunately, I possessed said supernatural powers and I was determined that using them, I would find her. My wonderful Bora.

Our search of the wider grounds had begun at around seven-thirty. It was now almost midnight and none of us could pick up her scent. I wanted to keep everyone in the dining room, so no scents would be mixed and distract us, but at eleven, my Alpha of a father ruled that everyone was now free to leave, making my job a million times harder. All I wanted was to find her, yet so far, that was looking as likely as a werewolf being mated to a human - unlikely, but not impossible.

"Namjoon, you should get some sleep," shouted my father from the main entrance of the pack house. How could he not understand? He lost his mate when she gave birth to me, only a year after meeting her, he should know the trauma I'm going through right now.
"I need to find her!" I called back, not letting his voice distract me from attempting to pick up her marvelous scent.
"You can look for her in the morning, your senses won't work as well when you're tired". By this point, all the other boys agreed with him, understanding that we'd have a better chance if we resumed our search in the morning.
"No, she'll be even further away by then. I've just found her, I can't lose her!"

I was on my knees, looking longingly into the sky, this was my only chance I had to find her, and I needed to do it now. A firm grip rested on my shoulder, causing me to gaze up at its holder, Jin, who was looking down at me sympathetically.
"Let's go inside. You only need a little sleep and then we can go looking again" he said so calmly that I physically and mentally relaxed. His eyes were sorry, and I knew he understood what I was going through. If Jisoo had gone suddenly missing like this, he'd be in the same state. Reluctantly, I agreed with him, allowing him to help me up and guide me back towards the pack-house.

I walked straight to my room, not acknowledging anyone in a cloud of misery. I was racking my brains to try and understand where Bora would have disappeared too. Did she just run out of pack territory like that? Leave me behind like a forgotten toy. I had a feeling that, as she's human, it would take her longer to fully feel the mate bond - to feel how much I felt for her - but I never thought that she could just run off as simple as that. She had no idea how drawn I was to her, I just wanted to be with her twenty-four seven for the rest of her life. She was like my other half and now I was missing. Half of me buried in a shallow grave. In my trance of heartbreak, I fell into my bed, not caring that I was still wearing my suit, and fell straight asleep.

There she was. Skipping happily across the spring green field. She wore daisy chains around her neck and head, looking like a model out of a perfume advert. Her hair fell in natural waves and the white, flowy dress she was wearing danced along this the butterflies and the trees. I sat, back leant against an oak tree, filling out paperwork about the new family who were coming to join our pack when her shrill scream brought me out of business mode and ready to kill the reason of her fear.

I stood up, looking at through the entire area of the field only to be greeted with the same pleasant scene which met my eyes just moments ago. Except, there was one vital source of my happiness missing: Bora. She was no longer skipping joyously through the overgrown grass. She was just gone.

I woke up from my nightmare in a fit of sweats and fear. I needed to find her - now! Still in my suit, I rushed out of my room, banging on everyone's door, not caring who was in there, telling them to meet me down in the main common room in five minutes. Wherever she was, she was going to have an entire pack of wolves looking for her now; there was no chance of getting away.

By the time I'd knocked on everyone's doors and commanded them to be downstairs as soon as possible, everyone was already waiting in the common room. When I entered everyone's eyes fell on me, silencing every mouth in a mile radius.
"I'm not sure if you are aware," I began confidently, "but your future Luna went missing last night". I few gasps were let out, but the majority of people remained silent. "I know I hadn't probably introduced you to her yet, and yes it's true that she's human, but along with me, she is the future of this pack.I expect you to treat her like you would every other Luna that ever existed. Go looking for her, I don't care if you have to exit our territory, just make sure you don't step onto territory which belongs to any non-companion pack". I was pretty sure that everyone had received my message by now, just as I was beginning to break down. "Please, just find her," I said softly, tears threatening to spill from my eyes.

Within seconds, everyone was running out the door, the warriors grabbing their armor and weapons, and rushing out the front door. I was quick to join them, and when I looked to my left I was happy to see my father joining the search too. I knew that he was unsure of her, being human and all, but I was so happy to see him genuinely concerned that my mate was missing. We were going to find her. We were going to find her soon. We were going to find her alive.

Two days later, our search was well beyond the territory of our pack. Most of the wolves seemed to be concerned that their Luna was missing, whether she was human or not. You have no idea how happy that made me. However, my anxiety was growing as to what had happened to her. We'd search the entire west side of the city, including her old town and she left no evidence that she'd been there. The east side of the city, where we were heading next, was known for its large mansions and endless forests - known more to us as the place where the majority of the wolf packs in the country had their packs. As much as I wanted to deny it, it was becoming more and more likely that an enemy pack had taken her. How they found out about me having a human mate? I don't know. However, they must have known that she'd be my weakness. As we set down along highway 54, I racked my brains for any enemy pack which lived there. You may think that as we were one of the top packs, we'd made a lot of enemies along the way, but you'd be wrong. The only pack which we'd had any kind of conflict with was Grifin's, and he was locked in the pack dungeon. He had no way of letting his pack know what was going on.
