Chapter 15

*Bora's POV*

He was going to tell me the truth. I didn't even know the definition of that. He was a werewolf, I saw it with my own eyes! How could I believe anything anymore? I'd always thought the idea of mythical creatures was stupid, so I stayed away from any kind of vampire or werewolf book. Hand me a human romance any day, but a fantasy book - I'll pass. But now I was in this situation, and I had no clue about werewolves what-so-ever. My knowledge was literally to the extent that I only knew they could shift between human and wolf - the utter basics. I was really regretting not reading Twilight. It was even made into a film! Why didn't I watch it! I'm screwed!

I was still in a trance from when Namjoon licked me, and it seemed to have paralyzed me.  I don't know what he'd eaten today, but I was pretty sure I was allergic to it, judging by the fact that I could not move from my position - which just happened to be staring right at Namjoon. 

When he shifted back into his human form, he was naked. Butt-naked. I don't know what I was expecting, but I was bloody shocked. He didn't even try to shield himself from me. He just stood there, naked, in the forest and I couldn't take my eyes off him. Not on purpose, of course, I was literally frozen in place. God, he probably thought I was a pervert. 

I didn't have any choice in the matter when he picked me up and carried me like a newborn back to the house. What was up with me? I was a vegetive state and all he did was lick me. I was relieved when he brought me back to his room rather than the dungeons I'd been kept in for the past week. He sat me down on his bed before he began talking. 
"I know you're probably scared out of your mind right now, but I going to tell you everything, okay?" I nodded, I was actually surprised I could do that, whatever had paralyzed me must be wearing off. "You've probably realized this, but I'm a werewolf. I live here in the Bangtan Pack and I will be Alpha as soon as I'm ready to take over". I was no longer following. What did he mean he'd be Alpha. I thought that was his dad's name. "The Alpha is the leader of the pack," he said, noticing my confusion. Well, that cleared things up. I thought it was an unusual name. It didn't change the fact that all I thought of when he mentioned that name was physics classed. Ew, physics. 

"Wait, I have a question. Why am I here?" I asked. I knew that he would tell me eventually, but I wanted to know now. That sounded really childish, but trust me, if you were held captive for a week, you would be impatient too. 
"I was just getting to that," he replied, "werewolves have a thing called mates. They're basically like a soulmate and the moon goddess destined for you to be together. Mates share a phycological bond and no matter how hard you try and fight this bond, it will always draw you back to your other half. It's like magnetism. And this is where you come in. I know you're human, but you're my mate. My dad didn't know this when he kidnapped you, but as soon as I saw you I knew you were the one. Bora, you're my other half, I need you, you'll be mine forever". 

It was at these words that my paralysis wore off. I instantly jumped up. 
"No no no... NO!" I said. I wasn't going to let this happen. It was one thing to find out werewolves were real and another thing to find out one of them was your 'mate'but on the same day! There was only so much information a girl could process. 
"What wrong?" he asked. 
"I can't do this. This is all too much" 
"You have to. You're mine and you'll be mine forever. Once you're ready we'll both become the Alpha and Luna of this pack - you'll be like the Queen"
"It's a wonderful offer, but I'll pass"
"It's something you can turn down!" he exclaimed.
"Well, that's too bad. Sorry, I broke the law, but I think you did too, you're keeping me captive here!"
"I'm not the one keeping you captive"
"Well can I go home then"
"That's the most absurd thing I've ever heard". Was he really doing this again? I can't stay here. "Please just listen to me. I need you. I can't run this pack without you. I'm trying to understand what it's like to be in your shoes, and I know it's scary, but do you know what's scarier? Spending the rest of my life without you. Please, just stay here for a while, I'll prove to you that you need me too, because trust me, the moment you leave me, you'll regret it"
"So you're asking for a chance?"
"I am, just one chance for me to show you how much you mean to me"
"Fine, one chance, and if you mess it up, I'm leaving. Forever"
