The hour's lesson droned on. Mr. Trode had lost it, there was no doubt about it. He was crazy.

My best friend Areum sat across from me, we were giving each other strange looks all lesson. When the bell finally rang she packed her things away quickly before making her way to me.

"He's mad," she whispered, careful that Sir didn't hear us.
"I know, I think was should go and speak to the nurse". She agreed as I'm sure that 90% of our class would.
"Should we go now? I'm not sure he'll survive another hour - plus we have English next, and the more minutes I can get away from Mrs. Arche the better"
"Wow, for a second there, I thought you were genuinely concerned," I chuckled as we walked out the classroom.

History was on the second floor, and so was English, but the nurse's office was in reception on the ground floor - which meant squeezing past hundreds of tiny year sevens and trying not to push them over.

"What seems to be the problem?" the nurse asked as we entered her room.
"We're concerned about Mr. Trode. I think he should go home - he tried to teach us about werewolves" I said. She sighed before dropping her pen.
"Girls, I know that you're year elevens, but that doesn't mean that you show any member of staff less respect than they deserve. I know you think this is funny, but once you're my age, you'll realize what a childish and stupid prank this is. I know Mr. Trode is old - but that doesn't mean you should try and force him to retire any earlier than he wants to"

I wasn't even mad at her for not believing us. I wouldn't either. The look on her face when she found out the truth would be priceless - we'd be sticking around for that.

"We're not lying - seriously, look in our history books, ask him, the man's insane," said Areum, she was never diplomatic. The nurse sighed, becoming bored of our 'prank'.
"I think that you should come with us, we're serious".

Before she could reply, a male's voice interrupted us.
"Why don't you come with me instead?" it asked. I turned on my heels to come face-to-face, or more like chest-to-face with a mountain of a man. My gulp echoed in the small room as I looked up to face him.

I was 5ft 5", not necessarily short, but this man made me feel like a pea on a table. His jawline was so sharp that I was cut just by looking at it; it was covered by a light shadow of stubble, giving him a masculine and intimidating appearance. By the tight neck of his shirt, I saw a tattoo, of what I think was a dragon, trying to emerge. His hair was black. Coal black. Unnaturally black. It was styled in sleek but messy waves, which finished just before his murky eyes. The suit he was wearing looked as if it was about to burst off of him. He wasn't fat, but I could see his muscles clearly - even through the two layers of clothing covering them.

"Come on then sweetcheeks, what did you want to show me?" he asked, his voice bellowing, making the water in the bottle on the nurses desk ripple.

Before I could say anything, the nurse had interrupted me.
"I'm sorry, but can you tell me your business at this school - I haven't seen you around," she said, making her voice sound much more powerful than it had just moments ago.
"My business here is none of yours. Go and play with your needles"

I took a step back but he quickly stopped me.
"Aren't you a pretty little thing?" he said, holding my chin so that our eyes were level. "I can't wait to get you home"

He grabbed between my shoulder blades, just above the base of my neck, and pushed me out of the room alongside him. I heard the nurse try the stop him, but I didn't put up a struggle. I was too scared to.
"Let's go and get some of your friends, shall we?" he asked cockily. I didn't reply. "Answer me!" he yelled. After that, I rapidly nodded my head up and down. "Good".

The way in which our school was set out was such that every classroom door had a wall high window accompanying it. The giant looked through each other the windows. Every. Single. One. However, he didn't seem to find anything to his desire.
"What a disappointment, I guess you'll have to do".

I kept my head down as we exited the school, even if in my head I wanted to wail for help.
