Chapter 27

Everything seemed to go in slow motion. I looked down at Bora's chest, but not a single movement came from it. 
"I'm gonna kill you!" I yelled, handing Bora to Hoseok before unleashing pure and utter hell on these bastards. All I was focused on is inflicting as much pain which would lead to their death as possible. My fists swung at multiple men at once before I reached out to snap the one in front of me's neck - followed by everyone else in the room. 

Blood was splattered all over me by the time everyone in the room, excluding the boys, and also those who tried to intervene were dead. I immediately rushed back over to Bora and scooped her into my arms, where she belonged. 
"We need to get her to the pack doctor!" I said relatively calmly considering the situation and the boys all started to walk out the door of the pack-house which now resembled a graveyard. "NOW!" - Bora was dying, I knew she hadn't died yet because if she had the pain of her demise would leave me in a heap on the floor - with us being mates and all, but she definitely didn't have a lot of time left. 

When we were outside, we all shifted into our wolves and the boys helped balance her limp form on my back with her frail hands wrapped around my chest. Being so close to her was giving me some sense of calm but I knew that any second could be her last so my only focus was getting her to the pack doctor as quickly as possible. 

Halfway through the journey, a pain greater than any I had every experienced ran through my body. It started in my heart as a kind of ache but quickly escalated and spread to every cell. Normally any wolf which sustains an injury can heal within a matter of minutes - quite often the pain's so weak the wound goes unnoticed - but this caused my paws to give out underneath me. Bora flew over my shoulder and I physically whimpered when she hit the floor and slid across it due to the impact. 
"What's wrong?" Hoseok asked through the mind link we had the ability to use because of the power of our pack. 
"Everything hurts. It's unbearable" I replied, letting all the boys hear me. Jin being the mum he is inspected me for injury but found nothing, with each second the pain getting worse. A quite whimper from Bora reminded me of her condition and I instantly ran to be by her side, despite the torturous pain which was now causing my limps of shake, I managed to get to her a nuzzle her with my nose.
"Namjoon, I think I know why you're in so much pain' piped Yoongi "she's dying. It will be a matter of minutes and she won't be in this world anymore". Yoongi was always blunt. As much as it might hurt to hear, sometimes the straight truth was what you really needed to see.
"But there's so much longer to the pack-house, we'll never make it". Yoongi and Tae sighed in defeat whilst the Jungkook and Jimin tried to convince me and we could make it if we ran fast enough. Hoseok and Jin, being the only two with mates, seemed to be the only ones thinking rationally.

My pain was almost killing me, I couldn't imagine what Bora must be feeling, when Hoseok finally had an idea.
"Mark her" he said as if was the most obvious thing ever.
"Hobi, now is not the time for your childish jokes. For all we know Bora could be dead the next time we blink!" Yelled Yoongi slouching against a tree.
"Listen, I know this is a long shot, seeing how Bora is the only human mate is history, but there's a possibility that she could turn into a werewolf. Think about it. If you or I would get the injury Bora has sustained we would have been healed in minutes"

Without another word, my canines grew from my gums and I sank them into her. This was my only hope.
